None of you really spoke on what the three of you were. No one would act how they did when the sun came down, and everyone got off of work.
Larry would be the first to sit down and set everything out on the table. Rolling up a blunt in a way that seems out of character for his easy going, laid back nature. Folding the paper aggravated, yet skilled as he’s done many times before.
You would sit down beside him secondly. Sinking into the couch as you Watched Larry play with the lighter with his calloused finger tips. holding the rolled up paper to his lips. he inhaled deeply, then held his breath for a mere minute, then exhaled through his nose. The smoke vapor looked almost hypnotic to you as it danced into the air softly. It’s sight you can’t get enough of, even though you’ve seen him do this multiple times before.
Sal would be last to join. Changed into a loose wife-beater and some sweat pants. his mask off. You and Larry where the very few people who get to see him like this. it almost made you feel honored in some sense. He would sit on the end of the couch to watch Larry give you the blunt and would help you count from inhale, hold, to exhale. Larry’s hands would be lazily draped around you as you passed the joint to sal. Sally would hit it differently than larry, he would inhale, hold it, then would lay back in the couch as he didn’t really exhale, but let the smoke deep out of his mouth and nose as he talked to Larry.
Sal would reach his hand over your head to pass it back to Larry as the cycle would start over. They’d both would get more progressively handsy with you. Larry’s hands resting on your inner thigh. And Sals hand would slide up your back from under your shirt. You would let them touch you, not stopping them as they carried their conversation.

Sweatpants? Absolutely. Jeans? Sure. Basketball shorts even in the dead of a New Jersey winter? Go for it but don't freeze. A skirt? Oh absolutely, go for it!

Larry came to pick you up, mainly because you wanted to keep your surgery a bit of a secret (Sal knew what was going on, but the actually success of the surgery was the surprise). Also, he was the only one with a vehicle.
You hadn't seen Sal in a little while. You'd been kept in the hospital for a few days while you recovered from your surgery, and were about to head back to the house you and Sal shared with Todd and his boyfriend.

"Thanks for the ride, dude. I appreciate it a lot." You gave Larry a gentle side hug, and he smiled.
"No problem, little dude. Glad to know everything worked out for the best!" You got out of the car, and waved goodbye as he drove back to the apartments. Time to head in.
You walked past the stairs and towards your's and Sal's shared bedroom, only to stop and pet Gizmo on your way, and then get caught by Sal.
"(Y/N), you're back!" You look up at him, and you can tell he's grinning based on how his mask is sitting on his face.
"Yeah, Larry came to get me." You smile back at him, slowly getting up from your position on the floor. You were sore, ridiculously so.
"You pick up your prescriptions yet?" He tilted his head, and you nodded, holding up the tote bag you had brought with you to the hospital.
"Yep, got everything I need! I have to go back in a week to get the drainage tubes removed and from there we'll figure out when I need to come back in again." He nods, grabbing the bag from you and putting it beside the door to your room.
"What were the instructions you were given?" You follow him slowly into the kitchen, sitting down at the table as he put the tea kettle on to boil, grabbing two mugs down from the cabinet.
"Take it easy for the next couple of days, no lifting anything above 5 lbs for the next week and a half, and I can't lift my arms that far so I'll need help with getting dressed and bathing." There's a brief silence as he watches you for a second.
"I'm so proud of you. You took a huge step. And I can't wait to see how things work out in the future for you." His voice was soft as he spoke to you, back turned as he started making your tea.

It was nice, you decided, as you sat across from each other in a comforting silence, drinking your tea and watching the sunset through the kitchen window.

When Sal first saw you he knew that you were a really closeted person. Sal took notice of that when you hardly ever spoke to your peers and if you did speak it was with people you know very well. He found out that you turned mute over your trauma and he found himself feeling very upset when hearing that from your parents.
He always helps you communicate with other people when you need it. He is always the first person whom you’d reach over and pull on his sleeve for assistance with communication.
Sal found the small noises and gestures you made to signal what you wanted pretty cute! He is quick to understand what you are saying when you don’t have a pen and paper with you.
Larry found you to be very sweet when he first met you. He at first thought that you were very shy due to your lack of communication but when he found out from your parents that you were mute due to something happening in the past he took respect for that.
He is always quick to protect you from people who love to run their mouth and make fun of you. He makes sure that he knocks some sense into them. He can’t stand people who target others weaker than them because it honestly shows how stupid they truly are.
Larry is kinda slow… he’s not as quick as Sal when it comes to you trying to gain his attention through hand gestures and noises. He tries his best to understand what you’re trying to say without saying, “What?” repeatedly.

Final post about Adventure Time/Fionna and Cake for tonight, but I was rewatching episode 5 and I noticed that during the scene where Fionna, Cake and Simon are eating dinner with farm-world Finn and his family - Simon quite clearly doesn’t eat during the scene.
I didn’t really notice on my first viewing as we don’t really see any of them eat except for Fionna and Cake, but it’s still implied that they did. We see everyone around the table has bowls towards the end of Dinner except for Simon.
(Note: Cake’s bowl is not present because it’s in her hand. Fionna’s is possibly covered by Simon’s head. Jay, Bonnie and Finn don’t have bowls because Jay moved them to the sink)
This is especially odd considering that he was given a bowl before dinner started.
Now this could just be an animation error (it most likely is tbh), but it got me thinking about how Ice King’s weight changes throughout the series as his eating is heavily reliant on his mood.
It then reminded me that throughout the 6 episodes we have so far, Simon has only eaten one meal. That is the cereal he had for breakfast in episode 2.
Besides that, the only other time that he would have consumed something full-filling would be the coffee he makes in the same episode, but he doesn’t even finish that. In every other instance, he is seen a majority of the time drinking alcohol.
The lack of eating would be fine for the most part since it could just be summed up to cartoon logic, but we have also seen many instances of Fionna and Cake consuming full-filling foods and drinks (hot chocolates, sandwiches, soups etc.).
All of this made me realise that Ice King’s eating habits might not just be an Ice King thing, but something that originated from Simon. Idk.
I hate how people are ignoring the fact that there is a canonical reason for humans having 4 fingers + no noses in adventure time. all Your fanart is great but christ did you even watch the series? are you even paying attention?? like thats not just a silly little stylistic choice. That was intentional and there's an actual reason behind it
