Mace Windu is such a dad at heart towards even a child follower of a warlord.

I love this depiction of Mace, as someone so compassionate that he doesn't begrudge of the child followers of a warlord and sees them as additional victims of the situation and as people deserving of a second chance. We didn't get to see a lot of this side of Mace in the movies, but I love it when the EU takes the time to highlight his belief in not only justice, but also mercy.

Also, I love his "Stay in school" message to the girl holding him captive. Such a dad at heart.

Martinez borrows black lipstick from Selina and uses it to place kisses on various spots on Bruce,mostly neck, lips or cheeks. Bruce later has a meeting with Bella Real and forgets all about the marks of lipstick on him.

Daniel and Bruce officially go on a date at a nice restaurant that Alfred recommended. But it soon gets interrupted by Joker’s crazy followers,cue Dani and Bruce having to deal with them.

The Riddler finds out that the officer that arrested him was the one to figure out his last riddle.

It has been a month since Bruce and Daniel have been dating each other. Lately Bruce realizes just how much Dani means to him.and what it would mean if any of his enemies use Daniel to get to him.

Bruce finally gets to me the Martinez family. Needless to say they are very protective of their little brother.

I am SO SORRY that this took so long to answer. Normally, I would have had this fic done in a few days. As a bonus, you get extra angst and a possible second chapter.

Learning from past mistakes (but history keeps repeating itself)

Optimus looks at him, eyes scanning Fowler's face, before he looks away once more. "I feel as though I… somehow lowered myself to his level. The concept of your passing, of losing you, was far too much. It is a concept I have thought about often, but I could not have imagined how greatly it would impact me until then. I could not stop myself in time, and when I had finally managed to do so…" his eyes are wide as he seems entirely lost within old memories, gaze unfocused, staring out the window and into the distance.
