Mace Windu is such a dad at heart towards even a child follower of a warlord.

I love this depiction of Mace, as someone so compassionate that he doesn't begrudge of the child followers of a warlord and sees them as additional victims of the situation and as people deserving of a second chance. We didn't get to see a lot of this side of Mace in the movies, but I love it when the EU takes the time to highlight his belief in not only justice, but also mercy.

Also, I love his "Stay in school" message to the girl holding him captive. Such a dad at heart.
