I want to write for Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and possibly Walter Marshall, August Walker and Sherlock Holmes too. If anyone has any ideas they want to share then feel free to do so. Need more inspiration.

It doesn't matter if you're a slow writer or a fast writer. If you're writing 1000 words every day or 100 words in a month. If you're amazing at starting new wips, but never really finish one. Even if all the beautiful stories are just in your head for now. You're still a writer.

I find it fascinating that people who choose not to have children are generally assumed to feel really strongly about not having children (or even to feel really strongly against children, anyone’s children, in general). I am probably not going to have children, not because I REALLY REALLY HATE the idea of having children, but because I don’t really really love it. Out of all the major decisions I will make in my life, this one is the only irreversible one. I can sell a house, quit a job, divorce a spouse, whatever. I cannot unhave a child. I cannot opt out of being a parent once I become a parent. I can’t even take a step back for the sake of self-care or whatever, or else my child will suffer.

So for me, having children is fuck yes or not at all. The default will be to remain childfree. Having children should be an opt-in decision, not an opt-out one. Until/unless I develop really strong feelings about wanting to have children, I won’t have them, even if that means I never end up having them at all.

Trying to paint people out to be lazy or whatever. Ridiculous.

i hope you know when to recognize the red flags, but i also hope you know what are the green flags for a healthy & nurturing relationship / situation in your life. i hope you know what it feels like to be truly loved, way beyond the bare minimum, the breadcrumbs and the unrequited feelings you’ve experienced in life. i really hope you witness what true friendship and love means in this life and that it embraces you in so much warmth that you’ll never settle for less than that.

The stories coming out about the absolutely useless cops that were at the scene of the shooting is proof that those billions of dollars given to the police are to protect themselves and not the people. They want to be deemed heroes, but are disgusting cowards who shit their pants when confronted with the task of doing exactly what they signed up for. So cop lovers save me the “not all cops are the same” rhetoric because when you see how cops turned their cowardly backs on the hopeless children who were being murdered inside their classrooms and handcuffed parents who were desperately trying to save their children we saw first hand that they don’t value human life.
