Delayed gratification leads to a life worth living [mini vlog]
“It’s the type of performance that drives one to incessantly wonder, ‘What is she thinking?’ But this is uncertainty shrouded in personal mystery, not vagueness. And like the headiest and most involving mysteries, Keough refuses to settle for any quick and tidy resolutions, luring us in without ever emerging too far from her own protective shell. In this instance, answers hardly matter. Her suspense is enthralling enough.”
Here’s why Riley Keough’s breakout performance on The Girlfriend Experience deserves Emmy consideration, by Matthew Eng

you said you're not on other social networking sites anymore maybe except from tumblr and/or pinterest so how do you keep on being up to date? because you still seem like you are and it looks like it works for you
I mean, keep up with what? Random social media trends and memes? That doesn’t matter to me in the slightest. My life has not been impacted by missing out on that in any way shape or form. If you mean like news and current events, then anything that’s truly big big news will manage to be heard by people who don’t have social media bc it’s bigger than the internet. I don’t really care to keep up with small things you see on the day to day bc like, most of the time people just read the headline and then scroll past it 10 seconds later anyway, completely moving on from it mentally near instantaneously. So apparently it’s not that big of a deal. And if there’s something that pops up in conversation I just say I’m not familiar with it and people fill me in just like we do with everything else.

🌱 what is cycle synching?
in short, cycle synching is coordinating your lifestyle habits with the phases of your menstrual cycle.
🌱 benefits of cycle synching
cycle synching can help you optimize energy levels and improve your understanding of your cycle, which, in turn, can boost estrogen levels and even boost fertility. it can also improve your hormone balance overall, which helps ease stress and period symptoms.
exercise: since the energy is low during this phase, focus on low-impact movement. this can include yoga, walking, and stretching.
food: focus on comforting and easily digested food. soups, decaf tea, veggies (lots of greens!), etc.
exercise: in this phase, energy begins to rise again. great exercise options can include moderate weight lifting or cardio, jogging, swimming, and pilates.
food: light veggies and fruit and lean protein, such as eggs, salmon, poultry (like turkey), and cheese.
exercise: energy is the highest in this phase, so high-intensity and sweaty workouts, such as hiit or vigorous weight training are optimal here.
food: lots of fiber and water to support digestion and healthy fats such as fish, nuts, and avocado.
exercise: energy begins to decrease before the cycle repeats. focus on moderate exercise such as bodyweight strength training, pilates, more intense yoga, and cardio.
food: healthy fats and lots of fiber! veggies such as sweet potato and squash, seeds, salmon, and dark chocolate are good options for this time.
