Okay I think I get it now I get it. You cannot explain the difference between romantic and platonic relationships to me in a way that I would actually understand it the same way I could never explain red and green to someone who's red-green colorblind. I'm not colorblind in any way so I can clearly see that red and green are two very different colors, but I cannot explain that to someone who doesn't see that distinction because it simply doesn't exist to them and you sure as hell can't explain colors. I will never understand the difference between romantic and platonic relationships because that difference does not exist to me no matter how much people insist there's a difference

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!
I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Khadija Al-Habil (@girlquee) and Yousef Al-Habil (@saveyouseffamily) are a lovely couple who truly love and care for each other.
They also have the cutest baby named Majd! He is their pride and joy. Like any loving parent, they will do everything to keep him happy, healthy, and safe. (I would protect him, too, even though I'm not a parent! 🥺)
Unfortunately, while the airstrikes have destroyed their home and everything they love, Majd suffers the most. Not only his initial exposure to the world is the constant fear and horror, but he is chronically ill with a severe respiratory illness (AND he recently got an eye infection from a bug bite!)
Khadija and Yousef have shared the latest update, as well: Majd has a chest infection, and he is currently in the hospital in the due to the lack of oxygen. The poor baby has to use an oxygen tank. But this is only a temporary solution. Khadija, Majd, and Yousef need to evacuate NOW!
The air is NOT safe for Majd and his tiny lungs!
I am not going to ask anymore. I DEMAND you to donate. Even as little as £5 can help this beautiful family. You may think it is not enough, but trust me, it is enough. I have contributed £5, too!

The country where I come from, Venezuela, has had an election for president that has resulted in fraud. Mr. Nicolás Maduro has proclaimed himself President although the votes have said the opposite. This regime has devastated the lives of its citizens, resorting to violence against those who opposed it. It has brought ruin to a nation once celebrated as a pioneer of Latin American independence, yet many choose to overlook its plight. Venezuela, a country that once extended support to immigrants and provided aid to others, is now dismissed as insignificant by many.
If you are an advocate who values the dignity and needs of individuals, we urge you to raise your voice alongside us. Don't ignore us because we are Latinos, this is also a war. It is a conflict against an individual who has controlled his armed forces, law enforcement, narcotics syndicates, and citizens, rendering any attempts at reform futile despite our vocal protests. I have family members who are unable to depart through legal means, and if they choose to leave unlawfully, they face harsh judgment from people of the outside.

There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.
A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.
I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.

Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.
While the world is busy enjoying summer vacations and the freedom and safety that come with it, the people of Gaza, especially in the northern region, are living a daily nightmare. Continuous bombings have brought devastation to their homes, forcing them to live among the rubble. Water and food have become scarce, and standing in long lines for the basics of life has become a part of their daily routine.

My friend Ahmed, his wife Maram, and their three little children Habiba (4), Kareem (2), and Muhammad (1) have been displaced multiple times in besieged Gaza. Their home was destroyed by the zionist occupation, and they have been forced to flee from place to place with no end in sight, facing famine, liver disease, skin rashes, and the recent threat of polio due to dirty drinking water. They are beyond exhausted. Ahmed frequently sends videos and photos of the conditions that have been imposed upon them, including bombings only hundreds of feet away from the place they’re currently staying.
They need €20,000, and they need it ASAP, to secure evacuation for all 5 of them when the border opens again, half of their overall target.
At €19,246, they are VERY close to this vital goal, but not there yet.
They hope to raise the remaining €754 in the next 3 DAYS, before the month is through. We need to hit €20k before 08/01/2024.

Executive dysfunction is a special kind of hell cause it’ll have you sitting there with your brain screaming at you to do something, and you just can’t. It’s like you just keep getting a pop up saying that you don’t have enough mana to preform this task. Then this just continues without fail until 1) your panic gives you enough adrenaline to move 2) you give up and just lay back down or 3) you are able to get assistance.
And it’s just like that every day for the rest of your life.

While the world enjoys summer vacations and the freedom and safety that come with them, the people of Gaza, especially in the northern region, are living a daily nightmare. Continuous bombings have reduced their homes to rubble, forcing them to live amidst the ruins. Water and food have become scarce, and standing in lines for basic necessities has become part of their daily routine.
For over nine months, my family has been enduring harsh and difficult conditions in the Jabalia refugee camp. Our homes are destroyed, and we live under extreme summer heat, targeted randomly by missiles. My little brother, who was supposed to enjoy his summer break after a tough school year, now finds himself moving between lines for water and food, spending his days just trying to survive. He couldn't attend school last year, and now he is weak and sick from the effects of war and hunger.
