I am just like any motivated and loving life woman, who loves her family, and job and has a passion of serving people.
As a result of my outstanding grades in my study and the excellent performance in my job, I have been a holder of different scholarship. I am also active participant in many research visits and scientific missions in many countries like Canada, Malaysia and Egypt. The last scholarship I have awarded was at McGill University in Canada. I returned back to Gaza a month ago before the beginning of the genocide in Gaza. 💔
Again, I am one of the 22 women from the developing world who have been awarded OWSD- PhD fellowship to pursue my PhD study abroad. it felt as though I was holding a golden ticket to a better life than anyone who is currently living in Gaza. But fate seemed to have another plan
now I am stuck in Gaza unable to achieve my dream, losing everything and waiting for unknown fate.💔

The past few weeks I have seen an explosion in doomerism and defeatism about Trump. Some people seem to have just decided to call the election for him for reasons that don't even make much sense
(He was almost shot and that always helps! Look at Reagan and Teddy Roosevelt! Reagan was already president and incredibly popular, and the shooting happened 2 months into his first term; Roosevelt was shot when he was campaigning in 1912....in an election he lost)
Trump has never been popular, he has never won the popular vote, and he has never had popular support. For the past 3 years, especially post Roe V. Wade, Democrats have increasingly overperformed especially in special elections. There were so many polls predicting 2022 would be a Red Wave, that turned out to be false due to faulty and biased polling. I'm not saying a Dem loss is impossible, but it is a lot less of a sure thing than the doomsayers are making it out to be
How does Trump win? Apathy. Despair. Low Turn Out. While many of the "Trump is guaranteed to win" posters I'm sure are real people who are justifiably scared, I think we underestimate just how many are people at home and abroad, who want a lower turnout, who want Trump to win.
I used to hear a joke growing up that "If voting did anything, they would make it illegal" Well considering how hard Republicans are trying to discourage voting and making it hard to do, it must do something.
Don't despair. Don't panic. Don't retreat. ACT

this is my family. What is their fault for living in oppression and genocide? What is the sin of abstaining from food and drink? . How can you imagine them being besieged for three consecutive days without any necessities for life, including food, drink, milk, sleeping children trembling with fear, and the sounds of bullets, beatings, and flying? The worst day for them. They are now in a tent that does not protect anything. Rather, the situation is made worse by skin diseases and insects, and the lack of water makes matters worse. There's an adhd hack which I wanna describe but it's going to sound sort of fake and sort of like I'm saying "just do the thing" which I'm not.
Basically it can be impossible to start doing the thing, but once you've started it, it's actually fine right? It's just FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE to start it, especially because you don't want to do it.
So I've got this way where I start it "without meaning to" a bit like if you were standing on the edge of the cliff and unable to make yourself jump off but... but you can jerk your body violently-- then you're falling and you don't really get a say in the matter any more.
A good example of this is not wanting to make a call. So you'd sit there and plan what you want to rehearse and hit the button when you're ready... or not, because actually you'd put the phone down and run off to do literally anything else.
So instead, I just hit call really fast, with no actual intention to make the call. Oh shit I really don't want to but now it's ringing and oh shit someone picked up and now we're already rolling and it'd be worse to hang up than to just talk--
I do the same thing with timers and work tasks where I've trained my brain to only be 'winning' the 'game' when the 15m timer is running so now if I hit the timer I'm like 'oh shit work started and I'm LOSING' and I'll jump up to do exactly 15 minutes of work... Only now I've already started and I might as well keep going, right?
Turning tasks into "reactions" not "actions"-- And reacting is way easier.
It's kind of setting the "poor impulse control" part of ADHD against the "Procrastination" part and making them fight.

Hey guys, life and work issues keep piling up for me, and I realized I'm not doing well mentally atm.
So, I decided to take a break from uploading new comic pages until things have gotten better, or until I'm in a better headspace
The comic's gonna go on hiatus for one month, so it'll be back on July 14.
Hopefully, I should be doing better again by then.
