Julian stares at the man for a moment before nodding. He puts his knife back and relaxes slightly.
"Alright fine. Let's say you aren't lying. What's your name?" Julian asks. He holds his mask with one hand and fidgets with his jacket with the other, trying to get it off. Why was every place so hot?

After Asra left and Maison told the Countess fortune he sat down to process all of it. The countess did say that he was special somehow ? Yet the apprentice wasn’t sure about that. Maybe he was only special because he was Asra’s apprentice ? He shook those thoughts when his small feathered friend landed on one of his shoulders and started to chirp. The mage chuckled and understood he shouldn’t dwell on such things. So he moved to check that the front door was closed and then proceeded to get some sweet treats for himself and some nectar for his hummingbird. He hummed softly as he moved with the other to the room filled with herbs and other magical items
Yes, yes. And then a gondola ride in the infamous flooded district?
Of course, you shall only receive the best. What shall I have the servants pack for you?
He felt his stomach twist in a good way. He glanced down at their joined hands and smiled.
"Ah, I um. Right, this way. Denko makes the best clothes in the whole city." He says, leading her by the hand down the road, moving around the other people.

He froze slightly at the hug, but quickly hugged back.
“I, no, not normally.” Julian mumbles, face turning red.
“You two run ‘long now.” Janna says smiling softly.
“Ye-yes ma'am.” Julian says, not looking up to meet her eyes.
Ellyon pulled back and smiled at his words. She thanked Janna with a bow and put the necklace on. She took Julian by the hand and led him out of the shop. She turned to him and met his gaze. “Where to next?” She intertwined her fingers with his.

"Excuse me? One, how did you even get in, the door was locked? Two this is Asra the magician's shop. So if anyone is breaking in you are." Julian huffs. He glared at the bird for a moment before focusing his attention on the young man in front of him. Maybe he could tell Asra that he stopped a robbery, that would make him happy.

Hey, Muriel. Is it okay if I come up with a cute nickname for you?
That is fine.
Julian nodded, "sure, I stay in a small place, not too far." ~~i have a hc that he has a very small house~~
"That is true. I am, rather protective of Pasha, though she's the one the gets me out of most things." He laughs.
the-arcana-rp:
Julian held the clothes and walked over watching the two interact.
“Ah, I see. My sister, well her and Nadia get a long quite well. Pasha could do worse, but a countess is pretty good.” Julian nods.
@the-arcana-rp
“Oh really?” Ellyon’s brows raised in surprise. She smiled, “As long as your sister is happy, right?” She looked over at the clothes he had in his hands. “Here let me carry them.” She offered and took them from him. “Do you wanna drop these off somewhere?” She asked as she turned to him and waited for his response.
Julian ran towards the trees, looking back once more to see if the guards were still following him. Honestly, they really needed to hire new people if they couldn’t keep up with him, he wasn’t even trying that hard! They were far back but didn’t seem to be stopping, which, he’ll give it to them, is impressive. He turned back towards the forest and sprinted into it. A shiver ran up his spine the farther he went in. The thick undergrowth caught at his feet, making him stumble. There was barely any animals sounds, only the sound of a soft breeze. Julian could hear something… something coming towards him. He had to move. Now! He took off away from the city, deeper into the woods. Honestly, he couldn’t catch a break! Whatever it was, there was quite a few. He could hear the branches snapping as whatever it was moved quickly towards him. The sound seemed to be from all sides, closing in around him. He ran into a clearing and looked around, not seeing anything except for trees. His head snapped to the side as he heard a human voice yell to get down, without thinking he dropped to the ground, crouching as low as he could. He really hoped it wasn’t a guard, but with his luck, anything was possible.

Vincent was hunting. Keeping to himself as usual. Barely on the edge of the woods as he chased a rabbit that far. He was just barely far enough to hear it. The sound of the ferals. Something was wrong. They were howling and Vincent could hear their hearts racing. They were hunting something as well. That didn’t bode well.
Vincent tied the rabbit off to his belt and took off in the direction of the sound. Finding the source of the other wolves delight. Some poor soul seemed to have found himself in their territory. He ran into the clearing and yelled to the man as he dropped his bow and arrows, “Get down!” As he saw one of the ferals emerging from the tree line.

Julian relaxed and looked around. He had been there before but for some reason it felt different with Maison in there. It had a different... Feel to it. Asra's was more cool and relaxed, while Maison's was more warm and homey feeling.

Julian nodded and put on a smile. “Ah, I’m glad, wouldn’t want to get you two into trouble because of me, that would just be rude!” Julian laughs. He was always wary of taking help since it puts the person in danger, but they didn’t really seem like they’d cared, so that was good.
Seth sighed. Setting his bowl aside and running a hand through his hair. “I can’t imagine not being around Vincent. How come you can’t see her? Did something happen?” As they hardly ever went outside the forest they had no idea what was happening in the city. No word had come this far after the count’s death. So Vincent and Seth were none the wiser.
