you know. kinda cringe that we live in a society where the primary acceptable reason to be single is to sell your soul to capitalism. the easiest response to "why aren't you dating anyone?" is "oh, i'm focusing on my career at the moment." man i don't want to focus on my career. i want to live a life where i make enough money to not make work my life and then go home to focus on personal pursuits that aren't dating people or having kids

I have seen so many scary movies but Disney channels “don’t look under the bed” will forever be the scariest

It's my strongly held belief the Boogie Person is nonbinary

Can we take a moment and appreciate the movie Don’t Look Under the Bed.

The movie is literally about a girl whose little brother gets cancer and she realized she had to grow up and accept everything life throws at her. She wanted to help her brother more than anything else in the world, but her bone marrow wasn’t a match and she realized that not everything in life could go her way and that no matter how hard she tries she can’t stop the travesties in her life. So she stops being acting like a child, and focuses on her studies, and skips a grade because she doesn’t want to spend time being a child.

The movie is literally telling kids it’s OK to be a kid sometimes and that you need to take your time growing up and not to rush anything or you’re going to miss out.

and to add to it the Boogie Man isn’t a man like you would expect! It’s a Boogie Person! GIRL POWER!

Favorite Halloween Disney Channel Movies 

Is there a don’t look under the bed fanclub?! Because I need people to talk to about this creepy ass Disney movie with who understand the obsession with it.

Can we just talk about how in don’t look under the bed when you stop believing in your imaginary friend they become your boogie man. Like how the loss of innocence just haunts you and you can’t unsee the world the way it is now.
