Oh, sorry, found myself doomscrolling on your page. Pay no mind to the flood of likes. I am merely enjoying your humour and presence in this online world.
Why do all my fucking comedies stab me in the heart man. What was that, you can’t fucking wound me like this man.
Anyway on an only slightly related note I finish Highschool Return of Gangster and damn I cried. Loved it but damn.
Also, Last Meal Universe, fucking love you and your sillies and the pain man. Love my silly shows also loved the ending behind the scene/bloopers clips during credits. Fucking great.
Oh no here comes trouble, one day I shall be able to finish you. Once i figure out my best option of watching you, one day I'll manage it. Same for you Missing the Other Side. How dare you disappear from the streaming service I have access to just to reappear as season 2, I wasn't fucking done with season 1. But ill get there eventually.
Damn I’m so fucking hungry, I should probably eat. Hmmmmmm. But it’s finals week. Gotta finish this painting. But food. Both is the answer. Of course. Never mind food is the answer, I shall return momentarily finals. And this time, I’ll just create you the way I want to. Without getting wrapped up in my head thinking it won’t be right I’ll just do it my way. It should meet the requirements and I believe it shows some of what I learned but it feels better to me this way. Who knows, but I’ll have it down. And I’ll like it. No matter what happens, I’ll like it.
Wooo! My brain is choosing not to be kind to me at the moment so I will take this time toooooo ramble! Now let’s see, what to ramble about today?
Zombie detective is a mystery comedy type show. An amnesiac zombie awakens one day to discover, he is in fact dead. Join him on his journey to find out who he was and how he’ll survive being a zombie in human society. Warnings: it is a zombie show so there is some death mainly of animals that is shown. It is also a detective show where they investigate humans and take on jobs. The show is mostly comedic but it does deal with some dark stuff so make sure to check a guide if there’s something in it you’re not able to watch.
Pending train is about a group of people who get stuck on a runaway train. Where are they now? They don’t know but they sure are trying to find out. Romance, mystery, drama, betrayal this show has it all. There are three main leads and the cast is pretty much all there from the first episode. (I find the three leads would be awesome as a polyamorous relationship). I don’t know what warnings to give for this one but there is some violence. I enjoyed the show and all the characters grew on me by the end of it.
Knock knock boys is about a group of guys who end up living in the same condo. Follow their journey as they bond and come up with all kinds of shenanigans. This show is for mature audiences only. They discuss the importance of consent and how talking about intimate relationships/health should be normal. It’s a nice comedic show that discusses the inadequacy of social norms.
Omg! Vampire is a comedic vampire show about a group of vampires who flee to the human world to enjoy life! Or uh afterlife I guess. Undead life? Eh, whichever works. Mainly humourous and friendly fun. The main characters all have bright personalities and their friendship with each other is just so fun. They banter, tease, and support each other. While also trying to make sure they don’t get caught.
Hospital playlist is a group of doctors who form a band together. Friendship, romance, loss, and hope. Follow the group of friends as they all deal with their personal problems. Watch as they help their patients and navigate the social hierarchy of being a doctor. Will they ever get a gig as a band? Who knows but they’ll keep playing together as the bestest of pals.
Insect detective. Honestly I have no idea what this one’s about. Haven’t finished the first episode yet but it looks interesting.
Vampire detective. Yes I like detective shows… and vampires. I’m only four episodes in but so far I am highly enjoying it. Three main leads and they have wonderful interpersonal relationships. The main woman is headstrong and powerful. All three are super smart and protective of each other. Though one could have better taste when it comes to romance. Oh well he’s got his pals to protect him now. Did I forget the main characters names? At the moment, yes. Mystery, drama, intrigue, vampires, this shows got it.
My roommate is a detective. Three main leads. A journalist with no journalistic integrity (or thought of consequence of actions), a policeman, and an unfortunate banker fallen on hard times. Join them as they investigate crimes, solve mysteries, and put up with each other begrudgingly! The three make for fun banter though some of their actions highly confuse me. Like… huh? Mainly the leading lady cause with as much as she talks about having journalistic integrity it really doesn’t feel like she digs to the truth of it all before jumping straight to a conclusion. Otherwise strap in for a fun time and chaos!
Tomorrow. A group of reapers try to help the living continue living. Their job is to help those who have given up in life find the strength to go on. A heart wrenching story of the beauty of life and death.
Dad of light. A father and son work to rebuild their relationship in the heartwarming show. A son tries to find ways to reconnect with his father after years of loosing touch. He gifts his father a final fantasy game and secretly joins him in co op to grow closer. Will they bond? Will they game? Watch to find out.
Navillera. A man recently found out he has dementia pursues his passion for ballet. Will he find a willing teacher? How will his family handle everything going on? A beautiful story of family, friendship, and life.
Well I feel a bit better so I’ll leave it there for now. Thank you for reading and I hope one of these shows can bring you joy! Hugs and best wishes, a random fan!
Not sure how many people play Fire Emblem: Three Hopes but like Lindhart, Shez, and Petra I find are a wonderful combination. And I need to see them together.
I feel like part of the reason I’m not enjoying Xenoblade 3 as much as Xenoblade chronicles 1 is that every character essentially has the same backstory. They’re all child soldiers. Which, is kinda boring. There’s no interesting dynamic of the meeting of different cultural views like there is in the first game. I highly enjoyed learning about the different ways of life, belief systems, and biases that the first game has. It also doesn’t help that the tutorial is multiple chapters long in 3. And even then you still get more and unlock important exploration abilities based on the heroes you meet far later than anticipated. The amount of times I have tried to jump on a zip line only to not have that ability, so all I can do is stare at a chest beyond my reach. I just feel like some parts of the game could be executed in a way that feels less of a slog. I have to say the more I play it it is a tad more enjoyable than when I started the game. However, it really doesn’t help that none of the characters have a differing backstory so far. Ah that’s enough of my ramblings for now. Have a wonderful day/night!
I find I don’t understand everything. By this I mean I can take one understanding of a piece, look at the piece again and just be like damn how on earth was I so wrong before? It’s why I like giving shows a second chance. Cause I might of completely misunderstood what’s happening or maybe I never knew in the first place. It’s just the meaning I took at that time and now I’ll learn something else from it. Like something I might misremember or have a bad impression of I’ll go back and recheck and be like, yeah no I was so wrong. This is great! And vice versa, I’ll be like man this is so good, rewatch and notice things that are a bit iffy. And just go hmmmmm. Just enjoy what you enjoy and don’t be afraid to try things again or let things go. Also, a lot of things fly over my head in shows cause I’m not aware or conscious of everything and I don’t know all the experiences or relevant ties things may have so it’s always good to double check or get a second pair of eye. Anyway, that’s all my rambles for the moment. Have a marvelous day/night!
Me scrolling through posts. Seeing shows I like. Seeing characters that deserve better. They die at the- they fucking die at the end?! What-what do you mean? I don’t get my happy ending for my lil morally ambiguous people? What do you mean!!!
As there’s a lot of current events going on, I just want to say, you did really well. Great job sticking things out. You’re strong and amazing and I’m happy to see you’ve made it so far. Sure there’s a lot of shit going on but you’ve pulled through. So no matter what happens, don’t blame yourself okay? We did our best. And if you need a break take one. Here, I’ll save you a seat. You can come take a break next to me if you want or with the many others who care about you. Don’t know where to take a rest? Anywhere is fine as long as you feel safe. So find your safe place and cuddle up. We’ll get through this together.
Have a safe and cozy day/night everyone. Stay strong, cry, relax, breathe, we’ll be here.
Guess who’s sick and feels like shit!
4 Minutes the series, my rambles about episode 2. Spoilers ahead.
Okay, so the opening of the episode has a guy in a hoodie holding the rock. It looks to be night and it’s the same place that Tle takes Great and Dome. Who’s the guy in the hoodie? I think he’s probably the one who killed the guys brother (I can’t remember his name right now). Now I recognize people mainly by hair so I have no idea who hoodie guy is and hoodie guy is what I’m calling him. Now when Tle, Great, and Dome arrive, none of them have any outer jackets or hoodies or anything. Though we don’t see the dead body at any point so until shown onscreen it’s still unknown who exactly the brother is. Like I thought it could be Tle or Dome since I don’t know how exactly the time travel works or if it’s all fake so I’m I’m just rambling. Theorizing isn’t really my thing and normally I’m way far off so take these thoughts as what they are, random thoughts of mine :3
Anyway something I thought was interesting. In all of the time jumps so far, the original timeline Great tends to run away. When he hits the lady with his car, bumps into the doctor, his first instinct is to run. He’s not a bad guy to his core, just a scared one. And as for what we’ve seen of his family, it’s a shock he didn’t turn out worse. His friends aren’t exactly the best as far as we’ve seen. Like he doesn’t care as much for his family reputation. When he gives the flowers he takes out his phone but as far as I recall we never saw him take a picture. He didn’t want to in the first place and it looked to me like he didn’t do it in the end. He’s also not great at handling emotions. When the woman was talking to him he fled. It looked like he wasn’t sure what to do and the whole time he wanted to run away. He does care about what happened but has no clue of what to do when the lady apologized to him. He looked a bit lost to me. I just find this intriguing. Just something I noticed and thought was cool. Ahh okay enough rambling for now. Hope you guys are enjoying this show too! Have fun!
I feel like I’m vicariously living through what’s happening in Thamepo through the posts of others. I’m receiving all of the perceived emotions and have yet to arrive there in the show (I watched the first couple episodes and then waited cause I didn’t want to wait after each episode. Wanna watch it all together cause my emotions could not handle it).
And now I’m just waiting for the next post talking about what’s happening in the show, cause like what man?! What just happened! Excuse me they did what now?
Also not me specifically waiting to watch the show and then not temporarily blocking the tag. Why must I go through all these emotions with y’all!!! Ahhhh how are you guys able to handle it? I’m gonna go hide in my comfort media.
And so yes I think I’ll continue to wait for a bit.
