Seeking collaborators for Seven Umbrellas: A Super Unofficial Musical

For those of you who haven’t been following me/7U, hello! I’m an amateur theatre songwriter, and since last fall, I’ve been writing a Fringe-esque full-length musical adaptation of The Umbrella Academy Season 1 (with key bits of influence from the comics). With 90% of the score written, much of America still shut down, and Season 2 slated for July 31st, I thought now would be the time to throw together a polished album, reading, or series of videos of the material as a collaborative fan-filmy project!

I’m currently seeking folks with experience in singing/acting, media production, editing, music supervising, etc. to workshop this with. Here is a link to a Google Drive folder with rough demos of the first two songs as well as the corresponding pages in the current script so one could get a feel for the tone. So I have this S2 theory based on the twitter post today.

What if the commission slyly put up missing posters in the time the Hargreeves landed so people would actively look for them, without knowing the actual reasoning? It would be much easier to track them down. Field agents can only do so much and this also might be why they changed appearance? To avoid detection and the commission, as well as blend in.

At the very end of the season in the after credits scene at the very very end Delores talks out loud to everyone and what she says is “fuck”. It’s never mentioned or brought up again
