got blocked, and all i'm going to say is:
If you see no connection between a trend of young women willingly identifying with sexist stereotypes following a movement that pushed to define womanhood as sexist stereotypes and also shut down criticism women doing shit that perpetuated sexism as "their choice", that's okay, you can keep living in your land of willful ignorance. I'll continue having fun in the real world where we do observe things like "reality" and "obvious connections".
it’s literally so unfair that ‘gendered’ insults towards men really just slut-shame their mothers - ‘bastard’, ‘son of a bitch’. NOT fucking fair. men call women cunt whore bitch cow slut crone dyke etc etc etc until the ends of the earth, and alllll those words are just fueled by hatred of the female body. let’s flip the script girls…. I want to be able to call a guy ‘‘semen sack’ and for it to be the worst insult he’s ever had thrown in his face
Yeah these people don't seem like transmisogynists to me or anything
This reminds me of this one post, I can't even remember where I saw it or what it said exactly. But I remember it saying something about how a lot of incels or manosphere misogynists base their theories and "observations" of how women act not on real life, but from porn. Like, incels or men in the manosphere will claim the average bodycount for a 21 year old is like, 70, which doesn't make sense if you regularly talk to actual women, but makes complete sense if your most frequent exposure to women is through porn. This post feels like one of those claims, despite the poster seemingly being female? Maybe she's just trying to appeal to the men in those spaces, or maybe she's NLOG-ing and just thinks that she's different from most women for not riding peen at the drop of a hat.
it's a big shift when you realize 99% of all actual beauty comes from nutrition, exercise, sleep, low-stress levels, and dental hygiene. And it doesn't come from makeup, clothes, fake hair, fake eyelashes and fake nails. If you actually want to "glow up" 99% of your focus should be on the former- all the other shit is just cheap nonsense for the most part.
i cannot put into words how sad i get when i see girls/women talking about wanting to get cosmetic surgery. there is nothing fucking wrong with having a face/body. why do you need to drop thousands to live up to a beauty standard? “omfg it’s her choice. y’all are feminists until it comes to what she chooses to do with surgery”. yes because why did she feel the need to make that choice? why can’t we accept that plastic surgery is meant to feed off of women’s insecurities?
i remember being told when i was about 12 and wanted to be a doctor “you could be a plastic surgeon” and immediately saying that i didn’t wanna see women pay me to “fix” them. i hate plastic surgery so bad. i know societal pressure is rough but it’s really not worth it :(
all fetishism is bad because fetishes are fixations and sex is supposed to be relational - instead of being aroused by your partner and using things as props, you end up being aroused by a thing and using your partner as prop. if you fixate on a specific scenario for one and end up aroused by playing it out rather than the person you're having sex with, your partner is just an actor in it and could be replaced by whoever. that's why postmodernist pornography-fueled sexuality is so painfully unerotic - it's impersonal, without the intimate interpersonal element, desire of a partner as a person. it's literally regression in sexual development
So why *can't* we have a word for, "adult human female?" Seems like a significant group with lots in common (and lots to talk about.) And why can't that word be "woman?"
