So I’ve realized that a lot of reverse crushes au basically just switch Marinette and Adrien’s personality so I was wondering how it would go it they acted instead more the way they canonically do and here’s what I have so far (feel free to add your headcanons)

• Adrien being hopelessly in love with Marinette and, since she’s not awkward around him, they are friends BEST FRIENDS

• So he flirts with her all the time and she mostly just brushes it off but sometimes she flirts back since she thinks he’s not really serious about it bc they’re just friends joking around (basically canon ladynoir)

• and Ladybug having this massive crush on the guy she’s supposed to work with but it takes a long time for them to actually start working together because whenever he tried to talk to her she would get all flustered and start stuttering and run away but he eventually gets used to it and accepts that that’s just how she is and it’s okay because she’s nice and really brave when in battle mode

• for marichat it’s just chat trying to impress his crush but (unlike with Adrien) Marinette.exe stops working everytime he flirts with her and he’s just like !!!!!!!!

• and ladrien is just Ladybug laughing, bickering, teasing and joking around one of her best friends and finding it all hilarious because that dork has NO idea, and him wondering why ladybug is never that comfortable around Chat and deciding that he really likes that side of her and that he’s going to try to get her to be more like this with Chat

Okay but:

Ladybug running her fingers through Chat’s hair just bc she likes the messy look, and then one day doing it to Adrien out of habit bc ‘oh there’s my cute boy with the blonde hair & pretty green eyes and wAIT WRONG BOY’

Chat flicking Ladybug’s pigtails when he passes by just to be annoying & cute & bc he likes her hair

Adrien scaring the bajesus out of Mari by doing it to her too & bc she messed with his hair first

Mari getting him back by running her fingers from the nape of his neck up during class, which surprisingly makes him yelp & turn to glare at her absolutely scandalized

Madame Bustier not caring for once because FINALLY those kids are getting somewhere (#otp)

Alya secretly taking snaps of these occassions without telling anybody

Mari wearing her hair in different styles to avoid the pigtail-flicking

Adrien suddenly floored because ‘Holy SHIT Mari looks beautiful with her hair framing her face like that, why didn’t anyone tell me’

Nino is ready to burst, “Adrien, bro, just ask her out already!”

“I can’t just ASK HER OUT, Nino!”

Alya is constantly screaming

The hair shenangians do not stop

Nathalie & his driver are beginning to wonder just what is happening in that school to make him look like he just rolled out of a blanket burrito

There’s a scene in this episode  between Mason and Liam where they’re playing video games that’s a callback to this exact scene from season 4.

Scott and Malia share a full circle from the very first time helped save her. It’s real nice. 

Brett’s is on the run from hunters in this episode like back in season 4 

Satomi, who was/is Brett & Lori’s pack leader and Kira’s mom bunk mate in the Japanese internment camp of season 3 & 4 is mentioned. 

Lori, who helped Scott contained Kira’s Kitsune outburst, has the favor finally returned. 

Gerard repeats to Monroe what he’s been saying since season 2 

Scott has a moment similar to one of Allison’s and says the exact words as Allison.  

Malia almost says these exact words to Scott.
