Your personal Tumblr journey starts here
It's been a very long time since I've been so emotionally impacted by the passing of a person
I hope Toriyama rests in peace
I already miss him so, so much
My interpretation of goku ⭐️
Drew this in memory of creators - Akira Toriyama, Janice Burgess & the late Stephen Hillenburg.
Thank you for giving me great Nick shows during my childhood.
Have ever happened to you to end in a group of 11 person that absolutely dislike you and want to beat you up by working all together to destroy you only? Well, it happened to me, and everything while people were watching me and not helping me out
And everything happened because someone was bored and wanted to watch something fun
Like wooopsie daisy I had nothing to do
I want to go home

I opened Tumblr this morning and I found out that Akira just died
I cried
So, basically this is the Italian translation of the manga, and the word "summary" was too long, but it just made Trunks say "Mario?!" And here it go
As a Latin American, Dragon Ball was the first look at anime I had at an early age.
And although I'm not such a fan of the series today, I can't help but feel sorry for its passing.
Thank you, Mr. Toriyama, for your contribution to the childhood of many people around the world (and for the memes due to the Latin American dub, and other dubs) 🙏
I never realized this day would come so soon. I know I'm late like 7 days to it and I just found out. I would like to say that Akira Toriyama passed away on 1st of March, 2024. I just never knew it would be so early in my life. I'm 16 for few months by now, in high school studying biology. I thought that man would live for a little longer and I believed that. But I never realized how much that "little" was. In fact that was a small window of time. I know Dragon Ball if it comes about stories and animations it will stay the same but it never will be like it once was because well, Toriyama is dead. Let's just hope his amazing creation lives on not for us but for him. Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama
i havent been a dragon ball fan for very long, but ive absolutely fallen in love with this series and it’s cast of characters. it’s inspired me to keep creating and improving even when i felt i had no motivation at all.
when i heard that akira toriyama had passed i honestly didn’t think it was true. he has influenced so many people in so many different ways and has enriched our lives with his work.
im not sure how to put the rest of my thoughts into words but i’m sending my condolences and prayers to his family. i can only imagine how difficult this must be for them right now
Akira Toriyama was a very consistent theme throughout my life. He will be greatly missed.
(I wanted to get this done a little sooner, but sometimes life gets in the way of living)
Also I’m hoping this will catch on! It’s such a fun concept of a meme redraw. Let’s you get to know the artist. (Or character. How ever you play it)
Rest in Peace Akira Toriyama
I'm absolutely heartbroken. I love this mans work and I've looked up to him for years. He was my idol and inspiration for getting into art, I'm not talking just dbz art I mean art as a whole. He inspired me so much that I went to art school.
Idk what else to add. On a personal level, this is just one more thing to solidify 2024 being a shit year, and I want the year to be over already.
An Unfathomable Legacy Left Behind.
"May heaven be the joyous world he envisioned."

Both me, my siblings, and dad grew up with dragon ball. I remember the first do media i watched, it was the dbgt movie and me and my sibling were hooked. We ate up everything we could get our hands on before our dad bought us the whole db, doz, dogt set. It took us two years to get through it all and it was so fun Thank you for everything akira toriyama
i am beyond words atm. the news was dropped in one of my vcs while i was running some last second fortnite matches. I was lost for words then, and i still am now. there are so many different emotions im feeling over this and i don't even know where to start.
but overall, i cant help but think about how different things would be in my own life if it weren't for Toriyama. that man was a force of nature within pop culture. Dragon Ball has such an influence on shounen even to this day. Dragon Ball also has so many influences outside of the manga industry itself as well. To think that one person did one thing to make such a huge impact on millions of people is just wild to me. Crazy how life works.
Thank you, Akira Toriyama, for everything. You were a light in a dark world and you brought so much light and happiness to millions of people who will be forever grateful for your work. Rest peacefully 🩵💙
Akira Toriyama has passed away... May he rest in peace. Thank you so much, sir. For everything.
Even though I've just got into Dragon Ball, R.I.P AKIRA TORIYAMA!🙏🫡😢🕊
So about a few months ago, I made this Pixel Leaf fanart based on her new sona's design. I'm honestly really proud of this one, the only problem I have is to draw a hand pointing. TBH, fingers are kinda hard to draw.
But anyways, @pixel-leaf if you are reading this or somehow stumbled upon this post, hopefully you'll enjoy this fanart I made and if you do, I'll safely say thank you for your appreciation 😊👍
In case you live under a rock, Mickey Mouse and the cartoon made for him has recently reached public domain on the first day of January in 2024. Which makes it a great idea for Keithan (my OC) to be cast in Steamboat Willy where Doom Ramirez (My other OC) built a boat for him. Needless to say, things went horribly wrong.
However I recently heard that Mickey being on the public domain would also bring out some huge downfalls such as making some money by making crappy horror games, and being copyright claimed by Disney themselves, but hopefully I'll never be copyright claimed by Disney ;)
Well, it seems that you made it to the first drawing that has some serious topics. If you are feeling depressed or overwhelmed that these two have passed away, be happy for them for creating one of your childhood favorites.
I personally haven't watched Dragon Ball yet, but I've had one of my friends inside or outside the Internet that are huge fans of Dragon Ball and it is sad to see Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, pass away. So thank you Akira for making one of the most goated anime of all time, and hopefully you'll rest in peace.
It was also sad to see the creator of one of my childhood favorites also pass away in the same month. I haven't heard of Janice but I appreciated her for creating a wonderful childhood for me.
I have no other words to say other than my deepest respect goes to everyone that supports these two people and their family.
Thank you for everything...

それほどに影響力があったんだなと実感

I was surprised at how quickly and impulsively he drew, and I realized that he had such an impact.
I miss my childhood when I thought that if I called him Nimbus, he would come. I picked up some sticks from around the area and seriously wondered if I could improve my Nyoi-bo, and I seriously tried to see if I could learn the levitation technique if I tried hard enough…
