the line is a message from viktor to jayce and i will die on that hill. what do you mean “take a seat”(viktor in the present inviting jayce to join him on his journey to “connect” everyone and make everything “perfect”) “but id rather you not be here with me”(future viktor telling jayce perfection brings nothing but an end to pursuit and as much as he didnt want jayce to see him this way he had to because jayce was the only one who could save him)

also i love reading “stay your pretty eyes on course” as viktor saying it to jayce because he would come on now
