"Point to Nekoma!"

A volleyball hitting the floor caught your attention You snap back from your thoughts and back to the match. You can see that it was Kenma's turn to serve and you were on the edge of your seat. You were fidgeting on the bench with your fingers. You've managed their games before but this was intense. It was nationals! You just hoped Kenma and the rest of the team could pull through.

It's been a few months since you and Kenma had started dating. It's been amazing. Nothing too different from when you were friends but this time you guys kiss. Anyway! You've been helping the team practice for Nationals for months, and it's finally catching up to you. It was the last set of the game and Karasuno won. You saw your team's disappointed faces and your boyfriend's tired face. After this, you're taking them all out to cheer them up. Maybe some food?

"My body hurts," Kenma complained, leaning onto you while hugging you. Yeah, you've been playing nonstop. Of course, it would hurt. You did well out there." You said, hugging him back and rubbing his back. Sighhhh, I wish MY girlfriend was here. She never gives me hugs after matches." Kuroo said with an exaggerated sigh. "Lia's helping Fukurodani leave her alone. Come on, let's go get food." You say taking Kenma's hand and leading the team to get food.

"But we didn't even win?" Lev said confused as he and the rest of the team followed you. Multiple murmurs and whispers were heard as you turned around and smiled. "You did your best right? Even if you didn't win, you got to Nationals and that's huge! Don't sell yourselves short." You said with a smile. The team smiled back, their moods lifted up a bit as they started to talk amongst themselves.

The team still doesn't know you and Kenma are dating. How? You two never kissed or acted like a couple in front of them. Plus Kuroo kept his big mouth shut for once. So when the team was distracted Kenma gave you a kiss on the cheek. "I love you.." He murmured intertwining your hands. "I love you too Ken Ken." You say with a smile.

You all went to a barbeque place that was nearby and after eating went your separate ways. You, Kuroo, and Kenma went the same way as you all lived a bit close to each other. They dropped you off first (Kuroo ditched you both since he felt like a third wheel) and before you went through the door Kenma quickly gave you a peck on the lips and then the cheek. You smiled and gave him a peck on the lips and on the cheek as well before going inside your home.

Every time you kissed him he felt like he was more energized than ever. He walked home with a small smile on his face and blushed in embarrassment when his parents asked him what had made him so happy. What a silly goober.

"Kenma stop pulling my hair!"

You yell pushing your elbow in his face as you both dance on 'Just Dance!' "Get your elbow out of my face!" He said pushing your elbow back. You both ended up getting perfect scores. "You cheated." He said looking at the screen. You were offended and scoffed. "Says the one pulling my hair!" You said rubbing the back of your head.

"Erm... okay buddy! Let's get food." Kenma said getting off the game and taking your hand in his and walking away. You felt warm inside, even though you had held hands before but this time it was on a date. An actual date. Not a hangout. Someone pinch you because this has to be a dream!

Kenma's face was heating up slightly. Holding hands with you was unintentional. It was so normal before but now it made him feel extra warm inside. Who knew just changing what you called hangouts made you feel different? This was the push they needed all along.

"What would you like to order?" The barista asked you both with a smile. Kenma ordered both of your meals before finding a place to sit. "I found a store here called Teddy Co! We should go there after this! I stole Kuroo's wallet so we have around another half hour of us spending his money." You said sitting down across from him.

"You stole his money? You know what? Hell yeah." Kenma said with a nod. The order came and you both ate. You leave a tip and quickly head your way to the store that you mentioned earlier. You and Kenma may have ended up spending half of Kuroo's money but it's okay because Kenma was involved.

"Today was so much fun Kenma!" You said skipping next to him while holding the bags you both got. Kenma smiled softly and intertwined your hands together. "Um... this is so embarrassing holy shit. This was a date. Our first date. So um... I like you... no... more like.. love you. I just wanted to confess it since it already seems like we're going in this direction so..." Kenma muttered looking away and speaking quietly.

You felt warm inside and squeezed his hand. Was this really happening? Yes. It is. "Kenma I... this is embarrassing holy shit. I love you too. So... what do we do after that?" You say flustered keeping your gaze on Kenma. He just shrugged. You thought for a bit before speaking once more. "That means... we're partners now! You're my boyfriend and I'm your lover." You said with a smile as Kenma looked back up at you. He smiled and nodded. "Yeah. Lover.." Kenma said rubbing his thumb over your knuckles gently.

You both started to walk again and he decided to walk you back to your house. "Oh um before you go.." Kenma said before you opened the front door. As soon as you turned around you felt a pair of lips brush against yours gently. Kenma kissed you! He pulled back before you could even react. "Sorry! I um.." Kenma said blushing profusely yet before he could walk away or do anything you gave him a peck as well. "See you tomorrow!" You said entering your house like nothing happened but as soon as that door closed you instantly hid your face in your hands.

Kenma just stood there stunned before gently touching his lips with his fingers. He started to blush and walked away. He's never dated before! He's never kissed before! This was all so new to him! But... at the same time, it felt right. Your lips against his felt perfect. Like they were made for each other.

The group chat is going to freak out.
