tl:dr: my life is angsty therefore my writing is angsty + most of the receiving end have been shijima & mitsuba. yay!
i’ve genuinely been writing so much angst over the past week it’s insane. like all my story prompts that i plan to write have this one turning point, a switch, a turn in the road, where the story turns just a littleee dark and then there’s just perfect opportunities for angst.
and i also realize it’s a metaphor for my life getting worse day by day (because it has lmao) but at the very least i get to write some juicy angst out of it!! yay!!
as for now, my mitsuba & shijima angst stays in the drafts.
my platonic shijimitsu headcanon will live on!!! in my head!!!!!! (for now <3)

Delirious, Middle-Of-The-Night Review of Moulin Rouge (+Update)
OK! HELLO! So I got to see Moulin Rouge on the 21st (today, technically) and I gotta give you my honest review. I am IN LOVE with this musical!! All I knew originally was that it was about hookers and I was excited for it in a… different way but OH. MY GOD. The music was perfection, the casting was absolutely spectacular, and don’t even get me started on the costumes or lighting. UGH!! I am head over heels for the man that played Christian and the JD vibes I got from that man. And my favorite song, El Tango De Roxanne, did NOT disappoint at all! Honestly, if you can see it you absolutely HAVE to! Annnyways, I’ve been on a whirring high at the hours of 10:50 on - 11:30 pm, so every time I’m struck with inspiration I try to wrap up my Myth May stuff. For June, I’m gonna be mass posting movie reviews (and maybe a book) for pride. It’ll be one for each week (so 5) and it should be out sometime next week. Chat, Im in a pickle(again)
So, if you know my posts, you know that I have a wicked crush on my coworker/ best friend. The pickle in question is, I'm not sure if I do have a crush on her anymore she hasn't done anything to slight me. I just don't feel the same way about her. She's still my best friend, and I'd die for her, but I dont think Im romantically in love with her anymore
So, uh that was not something I was ready to deal with, lol
Taking a break from WIPs and reading through works I’m coming across to drop a quick update to you all!
As of tomorrow for a good month or so, I won’t be able to post as much as I would like to until I get myself back into a routine as I start my new job 😁
One I get through training and know show my shifts look with days off and real life, I’ll be able to figure out what works best in terms of putting out new content.

Casual Life Update:
Remember that cat my grandparents stole a few months ago? His name is Dos. Because he was part of a litter of 4 kittens. So they were named Uno, Dos, Tres, and Kevin, because the neighbors couldn't remember Quatro.
Grandma calls him Do-si-do and he follows her around when she takes care of her chickens.
I've been thinking about my farmer grandparents a lot lately, about the people they knew and the lives they've lived. About how American culture has changed so much in their lifetimes. About how Grandma had to leave her schooling to help support her family after her mother died of cancer. About how teachers would often lock my Grandfather out of their classrooms when he was excused for religious services and they'd humiliate him in front of his peers before letting him back in.
About how a lot of people - especially in these Internet spaces - see them now, as old farm folk, and dismiss them as uneducated. As stereotypes and caricatures to be derided. Without a word to them, people will assume them to be of no use, to be able to contribute nothing of value by their experiences, and capable of no grand thoughts.
It's a bitter taste to recognize, hypocrisy.
I think about how my Grandma insists that everyone should write at least one book in their lifetime. She has books of short stories, books of poems, books of essays, books of local recipes collected by the women's societies in the area. So many of them are self-published and freely given to her by her friends and family. I love that she can pick each one up and tell me about the author and how she, and I by way of her, is connected to this person whose thoughts are inked on cheap paper.
She has her own book almost ready to go. It's full of little poems and daily devotions, letters to people who are no longer around to receive them. It scares me, because she had been in my life for so very long and I do not want to trust her to my faulty, frail memory.
Casual life update: My grandparents, lovely retired farm folk, in their 90s, very religious. They say the rosary every night and each day at breakfast they pray for one of their children in particular, and that child's children, and those children's children. They're bad with pronouns but they don't deadname me. They sponsor a college scholarship. In a town with no real grocery store and a dwindling population, they made sure people could come to them for fresh eggs and vegetables even when they couldn't pay cash.
They have recently stolen their neighbor's cat.
Got glasses for the first time yesterday. THIS IS HOW I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEE THIS WHOLE TIME??? WHAT???!?!
Life update here since I have my husband's family on twitter lol we decided to wait to move until we pay off a few things. We are hoping in the next year to move 😊 we decided to be financially responsible before purchasing our next home lol but because we were originally waiting to have a baby until we moved we decided that we won't wait until then lol we are going to start try to have a baby in June! I'm waiting to announce this to family in case we have any issues with conceiving, but I can't wait 🥰
This Sunday the BigEvent™ we've been preparing for is finally gona happen, which means I'll be a lil less busy with irl stuff and might post more wolau + art soon!!!

A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a chronic brain condition. My symptoms have been changing/getting worse pretty quickly lately and I just haven’t really had the energy to draw. I have an appointment soon to see what the next steps are but unfortunately for this particular diagnosis, treatment is pretty much either “see if meds work” or “brain surgery”.
I have lots of WIP updates to post and trying to make time to doodle more so hoping to get back to posting more regularly soon.

I am back.
I am older. The last few years have been a concatenation of love, loss, and learning.
I am blessed. To own my apartment, have a secure job, good friends and family, and the opportunity to continue my education with masters degree.
I am terrified. That I have gotten older, know how heartbreak feels, and have discovered how strong I can truely be.

idk if y’all remember when i said i went to the er a couple months ago but i ended up going back tonight for the same issues and! to no one’s surprise i have to go see a cardiologist soon lol ( shout out to the doctor who said the nurse who told me it was just my anxiety was wrong )
Life Update? I think im ok with medschool now. After what felt like years of bad days and breakdowns, im ok-ish. Instead of dreading the future, i actually can’t wait for it…
I've recently put posting on hold, as I've been having alot of huge events happen such as graduating, and moving house! However, now that I've had a few weeks to focus soley on getting through those. I'm happy to pick the pace back up and post more work again! Thank you for the support!

I could probs do small requests for BTD and TPOF characters :> I could probs also do small fics! Just don't expect anything extravagant, it'll likely just be paper sketches and stuff since I'm on my phone 🙃
I've been feeling so OLD trying to be a content creator lmao. Maybe I should embrace that though. I'm now Auntie Comet (or Auntie Ant, but I think I like Auntie Comet more. I'll change it in my bio. you do NOT have to call me auntie, I'm just rambling)

Hello lovelies! I’m finally back to Tumblr! I have been quite for a while on social media due a lot of personal things. I definitely plan to return but with a different outlook. 𝒫𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁 𝐿𝒾𝒻𝑒 𝒰𝓅𝒹𝒶𝓉𝑒
These past few months of 2020 have definitely been a lot for me! It’s been an up & down rollercoaster of emotions but I’m doing a lot better which means I finally feel like for once I am at peace with life & I’m so incredibly positive & happy lately. Here’s a little list of things I’ve been going through lately.
I finally finished up my Spring 2020 Semester which was so much fun & I absolutely loved the 2 courses I took. I took English Composition 2 & General Psychology this semester. I have to say the 2 women who were my professors were absolutely amazing despite the pandemic we are going through. My psychology professor especially deserves so much love & prayer right now as she sadly just lost her father to old age & Alzheimer’s & her mother just had a stroke a few days after losing her father. This semester has been difficult not only for my professors but for me & fellow classmates. I’m so proud of my classmates, my professors, and me for pushing through & working hard.
I have sadly been not going to work due to Covid-19, as I work at a local charter school I attended in middle school (the school is pre-k through 8th & I attended 5th through 8th grade) so I’ve been missing my co-workers & my children a ton which doesn’t help my mental health most days. I did get to chat with my co-workers through Zoom Tuesday afternoon & they are doing quite well so it makes me happy to hear. We have no clue when the school will re-open so for now the school remains closed.
My younger brother & I are both going through breakup emotions. He just broke up with his girlfriend due to the relationship turning toxic & unhealthy. My boyfriend & I broke up due both of us needing to work on ourselves mentally, emotionally, & physically but we are still very good friends & we do plan to get back together hopefully in the future as he is an amazing man to have in my life.
I have not seen my family since Easter! With the social distancing my family has taken it seriously as most of my family is immune compromised so it has been difficult not to see them but I talk to them daily. We are all doing really well which is great despite everything going on.

Master Lists: I have organization in my account now! I have been trying to find a way to organize my account for so long & I finally found a way! I have 2 Master Lists so far but there will probably be more in the future! They are located below the bio of my account! I will also be redoing Hashtags on my account to make the organization of my account easier which also helps my followers find posts easier.
Editing: I will be editing most of my account’s posts! I have better, more creative, & more formal styles to make my posts look more professional. That will also come along with the new posts (those will not be until editing is done).

Hello my absolute lovely followers! I’m back! I’ve been on quite a hiatus, due to work, school, & family. My life has been so busy since 2020 started up! January was quite the busy month with heading back to college & work, my cousin’s baby being born, my cousin & my friend both turning 20, having 1 mental breakdown, & the flu sadly going around the school I work at.
February has begun y’all! Also been a busy 5 days for me! I have turned 20 years old, watched the 2020 Super Bowl on my Birthday with my family, celebrated my cousin’s baby turning 1 week old, been to a Sunday Farmer’s Market, caught a nasty sinus cold, watched Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil for the first time, gotten my nails done to celebrate my birthday, & gotten through 2 days of work this week.

As y’all know, I am a college student. I’m currently in my 4th semester of college & it's going well so far. Last semester I took a gap semester break, so going back to school has been weird but good. I decided a year ago that I wanted to be a communications major, but after working at my current job where I work at a school with kids, I have decided to change my major to Elementary Education. I love my kids at work, I love talking to some of the teachers when I have questions about the kids homework even when I’m struggling with the way the kids are being taught to do certain things, & I grew up being a student at the school I now work at as an employee. I have grown to accept that I know I will become a teacher but I’m so excited for not only my future, but the future of the kids I work with. I hope I get to make an influence on children in their education one day.

I was accepted into my first ever job y’all! I work in the school I grew up going to (the school is pre-k through 8th grade: I attended for 5th through 8th grade) & now that I’m an alumni, I am working in the after school program! Each grade is divided up & has 1 or 2 staff members that helps them with homework, passes out snack, & entertains the kids whether it’s taking them outside to play after homework & snack or letting them do arts & crafts! I’m in charge of 2nd & 3rd grade, but I have covered for the girls of Kindergarten & 1st grade. My kiddos are so great at work & I absolutely adore them! I’m currently on holiday break for 2 weeks from work until the school goes back for the new year! I did get my first ever paycheck too!

My family is doing well & everyone is thriving! I got my first job & first paycheck, I got back into baking (my number 1 hobby besides social media), my cousin & her boyfriend are due in 4 weeks with their first born son, my cousin & I go back to college on January 13th, my brother & his girlfriend go back to school on January 6th, my brother & his girlfriend both got into their dream colleges, my dad started his own business & is loving it (He now works 2 jobs: his day job & his own business), I got a ton of money & gift cards from family for gifts (plus my paycheck from my job) so now I’m finally able to start paying for my own stuff, & just so much more is coming for my family in the future!

𝑀𝓎 𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟢 𝒫𝓁𝒶𝓃
2019 was honestly a good year but was also a dangerously dark year (I haven’t had a dark year since 2012 & 2014) for me. 2020 is my year of flourishing in my college career, my new job, fixing relationships with friends & family that can be fixed, throwing away relationships that I know can never be fixed with toxic family & friends, working harder on my social media (when I have time between work, school, & keeping my own personal life organized), & just focusing on me. I already sat down with my mom & we came up with a plan for the rest of my years at community college so I know what to do when I go to get my bachelor’s at a 4 year university, I will be practicing for my driver’s license, working on losing weight with my mom, watching my family & friends flourish in their current/future careers & lives, figuring out a beauty routine (skin & hair care & makeup), & just seeing where opportunities in 2020 can take me when I work hard & put in my potential.
