" Ah, Loki honey here you are ! " You had been searching for Loki for 20 minutes now.

"Yes, my Royal beauty ?"He turned around and smirked at you.

"Is it true you're joining Thor's fight tomorrow? " Your voice was filled with concern, as it was every time Loki had to fight.

His eyes now avoiding your gaze he responded with a simple nod.

He couldn't stand seeing you afraid. To be honest he didn't really understand it either. How could you, Y/N, out of all people be concerned for him. You two had been dating for a few months now, and every day that went by he wondered whether it would be the day you would break up with him.

But you would never break up with him, you loved him with your whole heart. On the other hand, you new this whole loving thing was new for him, and he wasn't quite good with expressing his feelings yet, so you decided to just sit with him and start petting his hair.

He would never admit it, but he loved it.

"Can I braid your hair my prince" You had always wanted to see him with braids.

"You may my love" He sent you one last loving look before closing his eyes, enjoying your touch.

You took a first strand of his raven hair, contemplating it before starting to braid it. His hair was so soft, it slipped very easily between your fingers. You looked at him, peaceful and beautiful, André all the fear you had in you disappeared, all that was left was this moment.

Loki could've stay like this forever, in this peaceful room with the person he loved most in the world loving him, touching him. For once, he felt completely safe.

"Stay with me tonight, please" He suddenly said, his magnificent green eyes looking at you.

"Of course, anything for you my prince" You smiled gently.

Loki smiled back.

"And you're all done ! You look stunning ! You said looking at the braids

"I indeed look good, I may keep it for tomorrow" He got up and looked himself up and down, visibly loving this new look.

"Now I want my payment for these perfect braids " You said laying yourself down on the bed.

"And what shall it be ? " He said intrigued.

"I... Want cuddles" You patted the bed.

He rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Come on ! " He said, inpatient.

"Fine sweetheart I'm coming" He did as said and took the little spoon position.

"I hope you don't have to pee because I won't let you go till morning honey" You whispered in his neck, placing a sweet kiss.

"I shall be fine, do not worry" He said closing his eyes

And that is how you both fell asleep, cuddling, not thinking about anything but this moment you were sharing.
