Posting this before I convince myself not to.

Got a couple of stories bouncing around in the back of my head, decided to finally put one down and see how felt...

Basically, Krell orders the decommission of Rex before his death because he loathes the man for (inserts many reasons) . The order doesn't go through until after his death, but Rex still gets snatched away to Kamino. They decide not to decommission him, but recondition him instead because he has so many skills and such promising performance.

Insert this new lil ARC, just doin his thing with amazing success rates, but he's super introverted and quiet. Fives starts hanging around him, trying to open the new kid up (as he does). Eventually he finds out just who the new kid with the funky scarring is.

Chaos, angst and feels ensue.

A strange theory that takes place.

What if the mysterious dark figure is not Tech, but Cody? We haven't heard from him since the second season, we don't know what's wrong with him. Hamlock mentioned the process of reeducation and that Cross was not amenable to it.

What if Cody tried to defect, but was caught and sent to "re-education"? It is quite possible that at some point he broke down and succumbed to them.

Do not forget about the leg of that figure from episode 3. What if Commander 212 tried to escape and the missing leg is a consequence of this attempt?

If that's the case, then Hamlock really has a chance to become a sadistic scientist who enjoys the suffering of his subjects.

I can imagine the reaction of Rex and the defective to the canonization of this theory. Especially if, after re-education, the clones feel the same as in the case of chips, only stronger. They are aware of everything that is happening, but they cannot even begin to resist. If it was possible with chips, as in the case of Rex, then with this one it is no longer there.

What do you think of my van kleiss? How did it turn out? It's one of my favorite characters to draw along with tentacle, white knight.

(Van Kleiss was just going to the grocery store, he didn't even want to look at Rex, plus he's in another city where they know him and Rex was just visiting that city. Van Kleiss just wanted to act normal and Rex shut him up after 6 minutes. The good thing is that They didn't fight since van Kleiss was calm, he just wanted to go to the grocery store and Rex was curious and well, you know how he is, Rex didn't let van Kleiss even go to the bathroom in peace, thinking that van Kleiss was planning something evil ❤️‍ )

In the end, van Kleiss didn't go to the grocery store, he was left wanting the tomato and lettuce salad.
