if i was actively seeking excruciating mental pain and a lot of snotty crying in theaters, i would have recommended they make stephen, while making the spell for people to forget peter, have an unusual bout of uncertain and stilted speech and say something along the lines of "he didn't make me promise to--but tony would have--wanted me to keep you... he wouldn't have wanted..." and for peter to smile bitterly and shrug a little and say "well. tony--i guess it doesn't really matter any more." everything else can stay and everything else goes as it does in canon.
but of course i am not actively seeking any more excruciating mental pain and snotty sobbing than the movie already gifted me

You know that one scene where the three Spider-Men were chatting at the Statue of Liberty? The part where Peter-One and Peter-Three were talking about Peter-Two’s web situation? Well, there’s a line that had me SCREAMING.
When P2 was explaining how he shoots his webs, P3 thought that’s cool and he’d like to see a closer look and said - I quote -, “I wanna see the holes” (P2’s wrist holes). I guess P2 must’ve had a dirty mind because he made a face that was kinda like, “😳”.

Spider-Society and The Day of Lots of Involuntary Trips to Earth-19999. (Finally finished this, god damn.)
I hadn’t seen any takes on what Spider-Society was like during Spider-man: No Way Home (2021), so I thought about it too hard.
I.e. I pulled up a clip of No Way Home to see what the Peter-abduction spell would look like from Miguel’s POV, then realized he'd have no idea what he's looking at and would probably mistake it for something else.
I work at a movie theater and there is an empty spiderman showing tonight. Completely empty. Nobody bought tickets.
I’m getting whiplash because we went from completely packed theaters to nothing. Wtf.
Please tell me that I am not the only one who thinks that midnight though from "set it off" fits very well with Norman Osborn especially if it is with Norman after the events of NWH
