The good thing about studying my career is that I'm reading a physics book at the same time that one about the mayas and their history. The duality of college.

I kind of like to multitask since it makes everything a little bit easier for me

Finishing my homework feat resident evil 7 by vegeta777, a very well known YouTuber here in Spain.

Weaving back the thread is actually quite difficult, but I'm managing to finish it.

Tell me you are fucked with out telling it, I'm starting, I have to make a 10.000 word easy for tomorrow and I only got a little bit over the middle of the essay, I say middle because Google docs does not count the notes you make, so that makes it's roughly 5.000 words. And tomorrow I have to work so I'm probably going to end up like today, working my ass off because I thought I could do it in a week.

Welp, you need to learn in some way. The good thing is that my essay is heavily influenced by photos, so it's going to be easier to instead of doing 10.000 words do like 7.000 and call it a day.

What I'm doing is a technique to sew threads together when they are broken, since we can't really use knots or very invasive methods we use a special glue that then we have to apply heat so it stays together

Kind of not doing notes, I'm working on some crochet, but I've finally learned how to take chemistry notes,so I'm quite happy!!

Sooo, maybe I've been a little mia, in my defense I went from having no job to having two, and between that and the college deadlines I've been quite stressed.like the three days I don't tutor I stay at the library with some classmates studying, and the days that I do tutor and have my other job I eat fast AF and study either when I come back or before going. Being a college student and working is quite tiring, but my career and the money in my back account are worth it. I might even be able to move out of my parents house when graduation comes

This is the first and last time I'm going to talk about this, so listen, I'm not going to talk about anything concerning political reasons, except the Dana in Valencia because I needed to help spread the information for all the Spanish people I could, is it selfish, probably, do I give a fuck, no, it's my blog and I'm going to talk about whatever makes me confortable, the point of this is for people stop sending me gaza and other catastrophe related asks, I'm not going to answer them, they make me uncomfortable because I can't donate to go fund me, I help in other ways, like in campaigns of food/clothes... Where I actually donate the things they ask for. It's good that we help each other, but I'm centering in my country and my mental health, because that is also important.

And remember, it's your blog, talk about whatever you are comfortable without having to take any side, your ideals and your online persona doesn't have to be on display 24/7.

And for the people that might tell me that in with Israel or Rusia no I'm not, I'm with Palestine and Ukraine, I just hate talking about wars and the climax of insecurities is causing, I already talk a lot about it in my real life that I don't want my online persona to also be dominated by it.

When the study group consists of a fifth grader, a vocational training student and two college students. We are actually getting a lot of things done.

listen. i don't mind studying in fact i like learning new stuff every day (yeah i might be a constantly distracted mf but that's a different talk) BUT I SWEAR TO GOD my college will make me have a stroke!!!!

is the most disorganized institution in the world. nobody knows shit in that fucking building but everything is a "no, we don't know, don't even think about it, not in a million years, fuck u!" answer every time you have the slightest inconvenience.

bureaucracy made me hate my degree choice.

I love my career choices, I really do, but having more than 5 ten page essays in Arial 12 is going to end my mental health, the good thing is that like three are in groups, still with all the work load and everything is quite slow, and more with all the information I need to make a good presentation.

So I need to do a final assignment in any topic I want for my art history class, I decided to do it about the military propaganda in movies (needs to be related to art) like top gun and others, (disclaimer, I haven't watched any one of this films, yet, 'cause I don't enjoy cine about war but military propaganda is super funny, end of disclaimer), and holy shit, this is super wild, like the Americans have a lot of propaganda films? My country, Spain, comes from a military dictatorship but we couldn't talk about the hardships of war and things like that, it was a very taboo topic, now a day's not so much, except with elderly people, but like I had to go to films from Franco's time to find a film that didn't mock them, this doesn't mean we don't have, lately we've been having more, but I don't know, I just find it interesting.

In my country the climate is weird, we've got some cold fronts coming, so obviously with the drastic change of temperature I got a cold(in the mornings we need have a coat but during evenings you can perfectly go in tank tops), but I need to make a presentation for Thursday, so reading this is a must, when I finish I'm probably going to sleep till tomorrow evening

Things done today

- Started the wips of two of my final presentations (got all the bibliography and the started it)

- Studied for chemistry

- Started my art history presentation

The best thing about coming soon to class (i live quite far away and prefer to come 30 minutos earlier than later) is that I get to crochet and eat before the class starts.

This! This is actually so important and we often overlook it and puss ourselves over our limits, which isn't bad overall, but dumb if we aren't careful

Self-care isn't selfish; it's necessary. Take the time to prioritize your well-being.

Hey students, here’s a pro tip: do not write an email to your prof while you’re seriously sick.

Signed, a person who somehow came up with “dear hello, I am sick and not sure if I’ll be alive to come tomorrow and I’m sorry, best slutantions, [name]”.

Whenever I have an English assignment and I have to make a draft and a final copy I just put spelling mistakes and don't use fullstops or anything and then for my final copy I just copy my draft word for word and correct the mistakes cus I'm too lazy to write a better version of what I already wrote

Pharmacology is going to kill me. I have an exam on Thursday that I know I'm not going to do the greatest on since I've just been very unmotivated the last 2 weeks. Now that I'm feeling good again I'm kicking myself for not trying harder 😭 how am I going to memorize all these drugs?!

I'm so proud of myself. I did that while still working 24 hours a week and taking care of our household. I still found time for my hobbies, my friends, my family, GOT MARRIED, and enjoyed myself during all this 🥰

life has been so kind to me lately

Did really well on my 2nd human physiology exam!!! I'm really proud of myself cause I went in really tired and not having studied much the night before, but I think studying throughout the weeks beforehand helped a lot!!

Had another night of drinking with my friends and I felt so happy and at peace with the fact that my friends and I are living our lives the way we should 🙂

Haven't done much school work recently besides the bare minimum, but it still feels okay since I am keeping on top of it all and not falling too far behind

I applied to Pharmacy school!!! Still waiting to hear back, but I am not too worried since I have a guaranteed interview because of my program I am in. The actual interview is gonna be the hard part 🫠🫠 Hoping it goes well, but my program directors say I will do fine!!

life lately <3

- visited the science museum with my mom to donate blood, was very disappointed not to see any bacteria exhibits

- finally made a friend in my human physiology lecture!!! she got my number and we did our group quiz together :) she is pre-nursing

- drank for the first time and learned that my anxiety disappears when im tipsy-ish, also pet a stray cat

- had my first human physiology lab, not too sure about my group mates so far... but we'll see!

life is going really well, but i miss a lot of my friends who i dont see as often now.

t-1 year til pharmacy school starts hopefully. my application is due in october and my interview will be in december!! so excited!!!!
