The moon hung high in the night sky, casting a silvery glow over the abandoned building where you and Sukuna often found solace. The world outside was chaotic, filled with curses and battles, but here, in this hidden sanctuary, you felt a sense of peace.

Sukuna leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, a smirk playing on his lips as he watched you. His crimson eyes glinted with mischief, but there was something softer beneath the surface that only you could see. You had become his best friend, the one person who could break through the layers of his intimidating persona.

“Are you just going to stare at me all night?” you teased, a playful smile on your face.

“Maybe I like what I see,” he replied, his voice low and sultry. The air between you crackled with tension, a mix of friendship and something deeper that neither of you dared to acknowledge.

You stepped closer, your heart racing. “You know, you could be a little nicer sometimes.”

Sukuna chuckled, the sound deep and rumbling. “Nicer? Where’s the fun in that?” He pushed off the wall, closing the distance between you. His presence was overwhelming, a mix of danger and allure that made your breath hitch.

“Fun for you, maybe,” you shot back, trying to maintain your composure. But the way he looked at you, with those intense eyes, made it hard to think straight.

In a swift motion, he grabbed your wrist, pulling you closer until you were mere inches apart. “You think I’m just a monster, don’t you?” His voice was low, almost a whisper, and it sent shivers down your spine.

You swallowed hard, searching his gaze for any hint of the playful friend you knew. “No, I don’t think you’re just a monster. I see you, Sukuna. The real you.”

For a moment, the smirk faded from his lips, replaced by a vulnerability that took you by surprise. “You shouldn’t,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’m not someone you should get close to."

“Why not?” you challenged, your heart pounding. “You’re my best friend. I care about you.”

His expression hardened, the walls he had built around himself rising once more. “Caring about me is dangerous. I’m not someone who deserves it.”

You felt a pang of sadness at his words, the weight of his past pressing down on him. “You’re more than your curse, Sukuna. You’re strong, and you protect those you care about. That’s what matters.”

He hesitated, his grip on your wrist loosening slightly. “You really think that?”

“Of course I do,” you replied, your voice steady. “You’re not just a monster. You’re my monster.”

The tension shifted, and before you could process what was happening, Sukuna closed the gap between you, capturing your lips with his. The kiss was fierce, filled with a mix of desperation and longing. You melted into him, your hands finding their way to his hair, pulling him closer as you deepened the kiss.

He responded with a hunger that left you breathless, his hands roaming your back, pulling you against him. The world outside faded away, leaving just the two of you in this moment of raw emotion.

When you finally pulled away, both of you gasping for air, Sukuna rested his forehead against yours. “You’re going to be the death of me,” he murmured, a hint of a smile returning to his lips.

“Maybe,” you replied, a teasing lilt in your voice. “But I’d rather die with you than live without you."

His expression softened, and for the first time, you saw a flicker of hope in his eyes. “You really mean that?”

“Always,” you promised, your heart swelling with affection.

As the night wore on, you found comfort in each other’s presence, the weight of the world outside momentarily forgotten. In that abandoned building, beneath the moonlight, you and Sukuna forged a bond that transcended the chaos of your lives—a bond built on trust, understanding, and an undeniable connection that neither of you could ignore.

he gently brushes your hair with his hand and presses a kiss to your earlobe. his eyes closed as he continued to embrace your shaking figure.

he hugs you tighter as you sniffle and whisper a small "thought i was g'nna lose y'..." into his shoulder. "but you didnt loose me. as long as your here waiting for me, ill always win."

soft!sukuna who stays with you, even as you calmed down. he carefully pushes you back against the bed and lets you cuddle up to him. his hand finds one of your own, intertwining his fingers with yours and smiling at you.

his heart thumps in his chest as he sees you smile back at him, nuzzling your foreheads together. he pulls you closer as your eyes shut and kisses your forehead while saying good night to you.
