Why didn't you just tell me that in the beginning?

A guilty confession. I don't want to, I didn't mean to, but now I do.

An angry shout. Fists clenched, fury bubbling up inside until it finally bursts out.

A surrender. Exhausted, inflectionless. This is what you wanted, and you finally got it.

A joke; I'm giggling and so are you, and the words are so soft no one takes them seriously.

A warning; I'd never say that to you, and you know it, and now you know that something is very, very wrong.

A way of snarking back and forth with you. You've done something annoying, and I say I hate you, but we both know I don't mean it.

Defiance; you've won and we both know it, and I cannot stop you, but I will look you straight in the eyes, even to the end.

You’re not completely sure, but suspect your dorm mates are werewolves. They’re loud, eat absolutely everything, and you can see giant scratch marks on their side of the dorm. Every full moon they go out to party and come back the next morning. Now all of these aren’t sure werewolf signs, but since you’re so quiet they haven’t realized you can hear their discussed plans of “turning” you through the thin walls.

Reverse alien attack scene

There's been a LOT of movies/games where an alien gets onboard a human ship and goes around terrorizing the place. But imagine this reversed where a human stranded on the edge of the cosmos finds a high tech alien ship and decides to go say hello? Keep in mind they're in a spacesuit that appears to have "one big black eye" Imagine aliens two times bigger than us all huddled underneath the ship's console after the computer gave them a haunting reading of the unknown life form breaking into their ship. "Krek- calm down- it can't get past the lockdown system" Then the human gets frustrated with the doors not opening (lockdown mode) and crawls through the air vents. "ITS GETTING PAST THE LOCKDOWN SYSTEM!!!" I can just imagine the aliens shrieking and running for their lives as a confused human drops into their laps from the vents then starts trying to follow the aliens running away all while excited at the idea of meeting extraterrestrial life. And the aliens ate just freaking out because they see the human as some sort of half sized terrifying one-eyed leech that's trying to catch and suck their brains out.

Modern Romeo And Juliet

Saw a seagull and a crow sharing the leftovers of a McDonalds bag. They weren't fighting or anything.

A while later, more crows came and the first crow had to leave, but it returned shortly later. (I don't care if it was a different crow, let me believe)

I don't know what happened with them, but I hope that they have a lovely time looking for leftovers the pesky humans drop everywhere.

Me as a Fae tbh

A kind and generous Fae is desperately trying to convince a starving guest to eat. The Guest, well aware of the rules of the Fae, is paranoid and constantly worried about falling victim to said Fae.

i love pitting classically trained magic users against self-taught magic users in sci-fi/fantasy but it shouldn’t be snobbish disdain for them it should be terror
