Writing Prompt #10
A is violently ill and B has no idea what to do.
Writing Prompt #9
I’m not asking God for forgiveness. He should have a sense of humor.
Writing Prompt #8
“What is your problem?!”
“You! You’re my problem! Why can’t you understand that?”
Writing Prompt #7
“Out of all the places I expected us to go, this was the farthest thing that I could have even thought of.”
Writing Prompt #6
I’m lost, I’m so lost. How could I ever be seen as lovable in your eyes?
Writing Prompt #5
A screams, clutching the chair.
“Why are you screaming?!” B shouts as they run into the room.
A stares at the floor with a horrified expression.
“I dropped it.”
Writing Prompt #4
“Noooo, I’m not worried about us at ALL.”
“It’s just a match.”
“EXACTLY!”
Writing Prompt #3
A character is trying to call their best friend over with increasingly absurd nicknames.
Writing Prompt #2
“I swear to whichever god is listening right now, if I have to bring you back from the brink of death ONE MORE TIME, I’m going to kill you myself.”
Writing Prompt #1
“I told you, I didn’t do it! I’m not who you think I am.”
A single person leads the charge. They sit in their damaged armor. They've decided. They're killing both at once. In a silent wasteland, they say but three words.
"Rip and Tear."
During the war between angels and demons, humans are the collateral. They are continuously used by the two forces for their advantage until humanity decides to just kill both.

beautiful words list pt. 1
"These modern societal degenerates don't know what cuteness is when all they see is looks." I say with contempt as I lovingly scritch my Eldritch horror, watching as all their eyes close in blissful content and a small purr escapes their maw.
"Luckily for you, you have cuteness both in and out." I smile, and at that, it seems to smile with me.
Other magicians got cute familiars, yours is the cutest, but everyone seems afraid of her…
The villain smiled devilishly through the tugging and pulling of the chains; a smile that the hero knew all too well. As the high pitched screeching of chain against stone filled the dreaded air with anticipation as the villain was being brought to his execution, the hero stopped dead in their tracks.
"Halt."
The guards containing the villain in their hold abruptly stopped and turned around, briefly glancing at each other before shrugging.
"What's the matter?" One asked in a voice that was muffled through the helmet.
"I want a word with him alone."
"But the Royal Highness is awaiting his execution, just like you both agreed."
The hero shot a glare full of daggers at the guard.
After a brief moment of hesitation, the guard shrugged, taking a step back.
Clank, the chains dropped.
And heavy thumps were heard as both guards walked a little distance away.
Turning their attention to the pitiful excuse of the former villain, they growled, "What are hiding? I know you're hiding something.."
The villain simply chuckled and gave a cocky smile as they turned their head up, almost as if challenging the hero to make them say it. "For me to know, and you to find out~" They simply whispered.
"Don't play sly with me!" The hero harshly whispered, "I beat your ass and could've killed you myself had I not made the agreement with the Queen to publicly execute you in front of her!"
The villain sighed, "You always spoke with too many words. Is my plan really not that easy to see?"
He smirked to himself, "Perhaps I really did out-do myself."
dunno if I'll finish this but ye :p)
The hero has defeated you and you are being hauled off in chains. But this doesn’t matter, because you have already won and there is nothing the hero can do.
"I can't make it seem like you guys are having fun here!" He exclaims.
(I'd love to see anyone else continue this if you want btw)
Satan’s usually pretty chill in the way he runs Hell. Today he’s scrambling to make it look as miserable as possible because God is soon to visit
"It is a dream to live forever" they say.
"But at what cost?" I conclude.
idk
If someone is killed, however many years they would have lived is added to the killer’s lifespan. For as long as you can remember, you have been an executioner.
Objectively kind of a bummer that if you drown your soul belongs to the water for all eternity as a wet ghost but this is possibly preferable to an afterlife you have no guarantee of, because who knows where you go if you die on land but if you die at sea you know exactly what to expect. Fish

A prompt about mirrors please? Thank you!
i knew i had ten million mirror prompts sprinkled throughout the blog so i found them for you instead of taking your request, i hope that's acceptable, big love, - L
We found the mirror in a corner of the basement, ancient, grimy and full length. Three days later the curse expired, and it turned back into a woman.
I put a mirror in the forest, and it drew out all sorts. No otherworldly thing can resist their own image
When we got home, we saw the storm had smashed all of our mirrors. The china was fine. The glass in the windows was intact. But the door was open, and our mirrors were in pieces.
The house was filled with thousands of mirrors. Some were blue, or green. Some held no reflection, and some rippled like a puddle if you looked too long.
‘Shattering a mirror’ always referred to dreams. And it wasn’t seven years of bad luck. It was seven years of no sleep.
They always frightened me, the children with mirror eyes. They appeared mostly in ceremonies, draped in silver and silk, quiet and unblinking.
I found an old green mirror in our attic. “Keep it covered!” said my mother, “It’s the only door left!” *
I sew my wings on every morning after breakfast. You need a sharp needle and two or three mirrors, but by now I’ve got the hang of it.
It’s hard to properly dispose of dark spirits, but any mirror makes a good cage. Each morning I brush my teeth, my reflection crowded between a very long waiting list.
At the age of eleven, my parents nervously allowed me to see the family heirloom. They asked me what I thought of the painting, and cried when I said it looked like a mirror.
I wake up in a house I don’t recognize. In the bathroom mirror, my reflection leans in without me, and whispers: “play along.”
My great aunt owned a Perfect Mirror. Highly volatile and dangerous in the wrong hands, it was one of five.
This gives me the exact same vibes as that moment in BBC's Sherlock where John asks Sherlock, "did you really not know that the earth goes around the sun?"
“Yeah, the human body is like… 70% water. Did… Did you not know that…?”
OOOOOH I LIKE THIS I LOVE THIS
When bloody rain began to fall over most of the earth, many religious leaders began to proclaim the end times were upon us. Then corpses came crashing down, identified as Zeus, Odin, Osiris, and Jesus of Nazareth, and we realized it was so much worse.
@infinityy, You know what to do.
You have the power to place really small, permanent curses on people. Things like never winning bingo or having them suddenly dislike a food they use to love. One day, someone nearly kills you cutting you off in traffic, and you curse them. Little do you know, you just ruined their life.
"….Okay, are any of the dishes not poisoned?! Is there anyone at this feast who did not poison anything?!"
Before you were anything, you were a mother.
When the universe began it was you, and the earth was the first of your children. The seas, the skies, everything that walked the earth was your precious offspring. Humanity, however, were the children you were closest with, made in your own image.
The earth could not remain young forever, and as it grew it began to become too much for you to handle on your own. And so, like every god must, you collected followers. Humans who would take responsibility to do your work. In exchange you promised to reward them, giving them whatever they desired.
Children, however, are imperfect, and humanity is no exception. When promised whatever they want selfishness begins to take over, and time and time again that selfishness has stung. For every three steps forward your followers took to helping you maintain the earth, they took one step back with their selfish wishes. Eventually it felt like a chore, to reward them. It no longer felt like a gift to your children but a betrayal of them. Still, a promise is a promise.
When your next follower came forth to receive their gift, you were already prepared for the worst. They had suffered greatly, and those who suffer greatly have the most pain to inflict back on the world. It comes as a surprise, however, when they instead ask for the warmth of a parent’s embrace.
When you wrap your arms around your follower, this broken child whose only desire is to be loved, you begin to remember. You begin to remember that while humans can be selfish and broken they are still your children who wish for guidance and love. You remember that your followers are still young in the eyes of the universe, and do not know how to not be creatures focused on themselves. You remember and you forgive, and you remind yourself and the earth that you are the mother of everything.
Before you were anything, you were a mother, and a mother you shall stay until the end of time.
You are a patron deity that physically appears before your followers in order to reward them for loyal service. Usually, they like to fulfill their darkest desires, so you’re completely caught off guard when one of them asks to feel "the embrace of a parent."
1 - Knows exactly who they are and loves them anyways and the one who is desperately hiding their true self. Knows who they are starting out holding it over their head for leverage and ends up helping them hide.
2 - The one who knows all the books and movies and the one who knows no references, what's a reference? They fall for each other on A's quest to teach B.
3 - The quiet reader and the 'don't bother them or I'll fight you'
4 - The collector and the one who shyly goes this made me think of you
5 - The artist and their "muse" who, to everyone else, is just a normal person
6 - The idealist and the one who has made it their goal to help the idealist, even though they know how cruel the world is.
7 - The sports kid who's in denial and the "I'm punk, not emo" kid who doesn't want to deal with their crisis.
8 - The himbo, the himbecile, and the one who is teaching them things (bonus if "Im only teaching them because if I don't they'll be a problem")
9 - The one who gets way ahead of themselves and infodumps and their 'translator'
10 - The one who knows everything and the one who 'does it for the vine'. All-knowing WILL rearrange everything so their gremlin can do their goofy things safe from harm.
11 - The hated prophet and the one who shelters them. "They only said what they saw. It's not their fault you didn't like it/didn't listen"
12 - The one who tries to be smooth and the gremlin who ruins their one-liners.
First up, polyamory - The one who insults important people chaotically, the one who insults important people in a refined way, and the one who apologizes for them both.
Next up! - A bisexual god/goddess and the pathetic skinny sweetheart of a husband/wife they picked (bonus points for more popular but less nice contenders. Bi Wife Energy from Cringe and the Lizards)
Third - The Chosen One who hates being the chosen one and the person who's the reason they're willing to put up with being a hero.
Number four - The one who's always annoyed at them for getting distracted and the distracted one who's actually acutely aware of the annoyed one. Ex. "You're so busy watching the cat chase a butterfly I could confess my love and you wouldn't notice" B, who knew exactly what they said: "What was that?" B is just waiting for the moment to reveal they know
5 - The wine aunt and the literal parent. Wine aunt typically has the basic "You all go play while I drink mimosas. The only rules are don't get yourselves killed, don't go to prison, and don't bother me." Parent is Actual Responsible Adult. Wine aunt will step in if the parent gets overwhelmed, but most of the time it's just their Very Different Styles of Parenting. (Bonus points if they get together parent trap style)
six - The burnt-out kid who doesn't see the point but gets As anyway and the class clown who is determined to get them to take a break. (Best done if burnt-out is tutoring class clown for Reasons, extra bonus if burnt-out seems like a teacher's pet at first glance)
Seventh, another poly - The one with chronic pain and their two 'nurses'. One is doing So Much Research and trying Their Best to help them deal but doesn't know anything and the other who's done this before is laid back and sorta goes 'yeah i know a guy and eventually I'll remember to tell you but until then try x". Person with chronic pain loves both them and their care styles deeply.
Number 8 - Content creator and the one who beats content out of them with a stick, but out of love.
9 - The one who has 50,000 unread messages from the chat(s) they are in and the one who's always on the chat that keeps them up-to-date so they never have to open their chat messages.
And the final dynamic - The immortal/god who's gotten tired of immortality and wants their immortality and the one who's reshowing them the wonders of the world. (This one can be very tragic. Bonus points if immortal is secretly like 'once they die I die. Until then, I'll hold on.' :,D)
Two neighbours who live in front of one another's house (and who have never spoken to each other beforehand) suddenly find themselves practicing their musical instruments, window open, at the exact same time, days after day, until they start making music together.
I am definitely not inspired by my brother's piano talent and my front neighbour's trumpet talent. They don't know each other, I don't even know her name, but I ship it.
