Jensen looking like he's using all of his strength to not ravage misha right then and there
Jensen, control your face
Literally the scene I always think of when someone says Dean's straight/isn't inlove with Cas
"Dean Winchester is straight" is such a funny take. because there's like a VISIBLE correlation between Cas coming out of the bathroom all cleaned up and pretty and Dean Winchester sporting a boner.
It's... right there...
I would definitely be the one to think a guy is flirting with me when he just wants to talk
#Pick your fighter, bisexual man who didn't realize he has been flirting the entire time or gay man who thinks a guy who just wanted to talk is flirting with him
Reblogging this cause the writers wanted destiel as much as the fans wanted destiel but the network didn't allow it so the writers made it extremely queercoded
here's to 10 years of Executioner's Song and the Cain-Colette Parallels they just tweeted out on main on the show
bonus the architects of the arc agree:
Yea, especially since they only care about what jensen says and not how he acts or anything, cause jensen will seem like he supports destiel but never says it because if he says it, it could mess with his work opportunities and he could get death threats, and he's smart enough to know that and be careful not to say something that could cause it, I just hope he feels OK with confirming destiel on the supernatural podcast because that seems like the most likely place for him to confirm it
No, an actor does not owe anyone to say anything when it comes to a character they play but also cmon man, it has been 15 fucking years, you can literally put stop to this once and for all.
I don't think so, I guess you haven't seen the latest J2 panels and behind the scenes interactions ''I don't care enough to add to this argument but it's hilarious watching the argument because cockles literally does have more intimate and closer moments than j2 and seeing the comparisons is hilarious''
Like I said I don't care enough to add to shit like this but I'd love to see some people do the comparisons in the reblogs on this post
Also I literally said I don't care enough to add anything so why the hell would I care enough to watch the con panels
Ok this just came to my mind and I got to put it out there, so I'm sure every destiel fan knows that there are anti destiel people and some are just homophobic while others are wincest shippers so why do destiel fans get hated on and told why can't men just be friends when there are people who legitimately ship the two brothers, like I know destiel fans are usually more vocal and adamant about it being in the show and how it is/should be fully Canon but there are people who legitimately ship the brothers together yet it seems only destiel fans are the ones that tell the wincest fans that they are gross for wanting to see biological brothers be in a relationship
Saving this for later because FUCKING KRIPKE shipped destiel and is probably the one that started it when cas became popular and ended up staying longer than they first thought
β(Dean would) be attracted to someone who walked in the door, slaughtered everybody and walked out, and then he would say, βWhoβs that?ββ-Eric Kripke
Dean. Watching this. Amazed.-Script for Supernatural S5EP01: Sympathy For The Devil (2009))
And except for rich and Rob and bed edlund and the official youtube channel, and jensen also said that the confession was clear text for Castiel confessing his romantic feelings, and Dean is super depressed and commits suicide but then is all happy and hopeful the second he gets Cas back in Canon in s13, it was literally shown in the show that Dean doesn't want to be alive when Cas is dead, and the fact that they literally gave Cain a wife just to parallel Cas while Dean paralleled Cain, it was clear in the show just the cw wouldn't allow it to be explicit and if you can't see that then you're just too close minded to
The Destiel phenomenon truly makes me want to deeply delve in spn fandom psyche and how so many people believe in something, that isn't supported by canon material.
Dean Winchester isn't interested in having a romantic partner. He canonically only stays with one partner ( Lisa) for a year, and that's only because Sam is gone and he is the one who asks him to lead a normal life.
Literally this, people don't see destiel in the show because the characters aren't "gay enough" in their minds for them to get together even though there's a shit ton of evidence in the goddamn show that shows that Dean and Cas are into eachother and behave and are treated as a romantic couple, but since they can be seen as macho heterosexuals those people just ignore the evidence that's in the shows Canon
Not to be dramatic, but I believe that part of the reason why destiel has persisted far beyond the end of the show, is because every destiel shipper is partaking in an act of rebellion against the homophobic powers of the world.
Over an entire 15 years, an entire tv network fought against the allegations of gay. Directors fought against the gay. Actors fought against the gay. It still wasn't enough. Destiel went canon. However we won the battle but not the war. The fact that even 5 years after, actors and fans still continue to deny the existence of gay is part of the reason why destiel will not cease.
Destiel was never just about two men kissing. It was never about the denial of male friendships. Destiel embodies the fight for queer representation on screen and in our society. Destiel is the illumination of actual queer existence that isn't just a crude caricature of what people expect queer people to be like.
To validate destiel is to say that LGBTQIA+ people could be anyone at anytime. Queer existence is a red-blooded american man. Queer existence is a genderless angel. Queer love exists outside the boundary formed by heterosexual people.
Dean would definitely ask cas if he wanted to try his cigarette and cas would try it because Dean asked and cas would cough right away and give it back to Dean and dean would laugh then immediately take another hit
