Oh definitely. Because I have such a thing for taking stereotypically dominant, daddy-ass male characters, and figuring out how and why they would ever submit, in the most in-character way possible.
Because Batemans character, despite the dumming down the ‘sigma male’ fanbase has done, is an interesting one. Because yes, he is assertive, and cold blooded with no real emotions, and yeah, dominant. But he’s also a greedy, priss, whose personality is so heavily rooted in toxic masculinity, insecurity is always present. And he’s a total bratty narcissist.
No, he’s not an average sub, but he’s an interesting one. Maybe with a reader just as crazy as him? I dunno, ideas are floating around.
I just think cocky, evil sons of bitches are the most interesting to write in a submissive role.
