i need a fic where nick fury is peter’s uncle (not blood, obviously) and it has irondad so like peter is like ‘yeah i hung out with uncle nick’ and tony is like ‘i didnt know u had another uncle than ben??’ and tony eventually realizes that hes talking about nick his-mother-calls-him-fury

yes actually i do need a fic with tony being peters bio dad and signing away parental rights before reconnecting with him later in life, and then peter sees tony willingly raise morgan and wonders why she was good enough and not him
posted a new fic in my ‘between good and bad’ series!! its about 7000 words and takes place three months after the final chapter of ‘between real and fake’.

“No.” Tony sighed but didn’t relent. It wasn’t safe for Peter to skip meals, not only due to his metabolism but also his already minimized diet. “Yes. It must hurt to be running on practically nothing all day.” “No!” Peter shouted, immediately halting all conversation. Everyone stared at the duo, which definitely wouldn’t help Peter’s eating. “You need to eat something. At least eat your watermelon and some pretzels.” Peter picked up the watermelon slice, and Tony almost thought he somehow won the conversation, but Peter chucked it at the man’s forehead. “Fuck you.” The collective gasp could probably be heard all the way up in Maine.

Between Real and Fake by nevergracie
HYDRA Peter Parker fic. Basically, Peter is sent to the same Sokovia base as Wanda and Pietro. No romantic relationships except mentioned or minor. Sibling relationship with Peter, Wanda, and Pietro. Chapter lengths average to about 2400 words a chapter. 11 chapters. Complete. Can be read as a stand-alone but is the main fic in a series im currently updating. Parental Clint Barton and parental Tony Stark. (but tony stark only at the end) Takes place during Age of Ultron. Also my first ever fic posted and it kind of gets better as it goes on I think.
It's frustrating that you can come up with the plot of an entire fic in just a few seconds, but writing it all down can take anywhere from never to forever.
Wow this was so fortuitous that I saw this post today because I just got the same comment on my most recent longfic from that exact ao3 user!
I was sooooo excited that someone wanted to make fan art for my fic and truly had no reason to believe it was a scam until I saw this.

I wouldn’t consider myself a particularly gullible person but I agree with what’s been said above. This is a very innocuous scam in that it truly just seems like someone interested in creating fan art for your fic, which is a dream if it were to happen for real.
Thank you all again for this PSA. Thrusting it out a little farther into the universe to hopefully help some more people too 💕
AO3 / ff.net + Artstation 'concept artist' scam
FYI, I personally know two people who got scam comments from the same AO3 account today alone. They were very similar to the ff.net comments in this reddit post, and go something like:
As a concept artist, I really enjoyed your story! The characters were compelling, and the plot kept me engaged from start to finish. Your writing has so much depth, and I could really envision the world you’ve created. While reading, I got some ideas for potential artwork to bring your characters or key scenes to life. I’d love to chat more about a possible collaboration if you’re interested
The main difference between this and a previous wave of similar comments is that this is from a logged-in account as opposed to a guest.
I can't send a support ticket because I haven't gotten any comments from this particular account. Obviously, AO3 volunteers don't need to be flooded with more support tickets right now, anyway, and I'm sure other people have already reported this user. But do yourself a favor and just block Evelynaddison92 on AO3 like I'm about to. The account is 100% a scammer, and there are certainly more accounts like this on AO3, but that's the only one I know of atm.
Woot woot! All aboard the Gravity Falls AU train!! So, yeah. I've fallen victim to the recent resurgance of Gravity Falls, and i'm not even mad. This is my first fic on AO3, and i'm really excited to see what y'all have to say! Here's a part I very much enjoy from the first chapter: "Gravity Falls was a sleepy little town nestled in the woods of Oregon. Ford knew that going in, pouring over books, and connecting traced anomalies all the way to this backwoods town.
