The Rehabilitation of Death
Chapter 16: My Friend, The Sopping Wet Beast
With Heket's health progressing and the Harvest ritual setting the flock off in full bloom, Lambert prepares for the biggest festival in the century: a combination of a feast, bonfire, a follower's wedding, all while processing the newly developed change in theirs and Narinder's 'friendship'. Or really, the fact that the cat is now hesitating to disprove it as such. That alone is something new.
Narinder makes good on his promise, utilizing a heretic to open Anchordeep's door in a process Lambert gets to witness leading to a rather interesting conversation. The first crusade into Anchordeep is an impulsive one, and it's far too wet for the cat's liking. Lambert amuses themselves by trying to make the God of Death blink using the power of social mirroring and pushes their luck a little bit too far in playing.
Narinder's exasperation follows him into his sleep. Dreams remind him of a cycle he's put himself into. They are not gentle in handling his memories.

I'm posting this from my Twitter so I don't have to screenshot it (I'm tired and running a fever bear with me) so it's gonna have a bit of different wording:
Man I had stuff planned to post on here and on Twitter (same stuff I just wanna post both at once) and now I got a back to back sickness. That's to say: I have art but I'm currently very very sick so it's gonna be a hot minute until I can post it.
Always when I'm productive do I suddenly get smacked down and told "nah you can't show what you've done the past several weeks".
Like I went back to class last week, got sick, got better and now I got sick again. I got bad luck I fear.
Soooooo my drawing tablet finally broke after three or four years of use, so today I ordered a new one that should arrive around Wednesday! Knowing me, I might find a drawing or two that I forgot about (like the bakusquad art from earlier) but if not I’ll just wait to post art until I get the new tablet! I’ll see you guys then! I love you all! :)
Mental health has been really bad.
So I want to focus on something different for a little and then go back to SBI/DAT with a fresh perspective
I know PPT 4 is focusing more on Harley and the Theatre Incident which is related to DAT so I’m going to wait for more PPT content to come out. Who knows, maybe we’ll get a better look at the Theatre and why it closed in canon! And when the hype resumes, so will I!

HI GANG!!! So recently my autism has been getting really bad (lots of sensory issues and bad sleep and excessive stimming leading to pain) BUT I am in fact now recovering and will try to get back to doing stuffffff

An Update - I'm Going back to College

In like 5 days I will be going back to college to start my second year (yay f u n)! But I didn't want to leave yall in the gutter with me updating and everything so I got a few updates for you guys

Ik the one thing my blog was kinda for was for my TADC AU World of Wonder but I found that what I was giving to you guys was kinda... rushed and I know I could to better when it comes to the delivery of the AU. So with that being said World of Wonder is under full construction for right now till the end of this year. I plan to have redone character sheets and everything but then! But I will still be posting updates about the AU and everything but for now major lore and such will not be posted till December (January at most)

Tho I only have one page of my TAD!Carnival AU Comic there is so much flipping more to come. I plan to write a full fic for the Carnival Ragahta and Jax is the next few months! But in the next few weeks the the final pages of the comic will be coming out. (Tho they might look a lil different due to the change in software) And I think it's crazy how it's my most like post when it's only the FIRST PAGE! It means the world that you guys liked it so much! The full Bloody Words master post and fic will be coming soon!
These will be the main 3 projects I will be working on over the school semester! Again I still plan to be active through the semester but just not as much as I've been lately! But my ask will always and I love hearing for you guys! I just wanted to update you guys (along with hold myself accountable)

Chapter 13
Dangerous Distance
Ordonez wasn’t particularly excited to follow the trail of the two boys that ruined his chances with the woman he was dangerously infatuated with, but he would take this opportunity and run with it if that is what it would take to get her to grace him with another kiss.
There was no kindness in the way she touched him or kissed him, he knew he was only being used. He reminded himself constantly for the sake of wedging away from the feelings he held for her. It never worked in his favor, though. He was in too deep and he overstepped the line he danced between, the line of falling in love and the borderline obsession he fell in.
“I need to find those runts and get back to her. That is all. That is all I need right now.”
He repeated his words to himself over and over, praying to whatever higher power was watching him that he could make her happy.
However, if the terrain in front of him could give any hint, it would say that he was in for a wild ride.
The mountains twisted and turned in ways that only hills or valleys should. The clouds seemed to be caressing the tips of the snowy peaks as he began his trek. His location was undisclosed to everyone but Ximena, and he truly wouldn’t want it any other way. A creature’s ears bright and an angry red in color made him stop in his tracks.
“Last time I checked, I wasn’t supposed to come this far.” He muttered to himself.
This was a dragonborn child. Oftentimes, they travel in packs to ensure safety. If this one is alone, they are probably being tracked or watched from the trees for backup. They aren’t violent creatures, but they can do some damage if they need to. But this one looked like they were alone for good, no trees around to keep him in check.
Typically speaking, dragonborn creatures weren’t supposed to be near the mountains. They were found closer to volcanos or even deeper in the jungles. Due to their typical build, they can’t handle the cold.
‘If this small one was out and about in such an area, there were greater problems at hand than catching the boys.’ Ordonez thinks to himself.
“Oi, are you lost kid?” He hollers.
The pointed elven ears shoot to attention as the creature looks at him. Bright green eyes on a pale face met his eyes quickly. He couldn’t help but muse that their eyes matched Ximena’s.
“You aren’t supposed to be here.”
The androgynous voice replies, clearly frightened that they had been discovered.
“I was going to say the same to you. I thought your geographical location was supposed to be the opposite of here.”
He put his sword away, not even aware that he had drawn it. It must be instinct that he was so quick to react violently. Instead of lashing out, he sat on a nearby rock and held his hand out, offering the dragonborn to sit with him.
“We are supposed to adapt to changes.”
Hesitantly, the creature sat in front of him, still unsure if there was safety with this strange masked man.
“How did your kind adapt so quickly?”
Red ears twitch in fascination. No one had ever asked them questions about their kind, much less had they known things the way Ordonez did.
“Forced survival of the fittest I suppose. Put in camps to reproduce the strongest heirs.”
They cringed at the words they spoke, obviously ashamed.
“Can’t say that worked out very well with the fact that I am the only one that survived the walk here.”
They look back at the way they came, surprisingly the same way Ordonez did. He couldn’t help but wonder how they didn’t run into each other sometime sooner. These creatures aren’t exactly easy to miss. With their large stature and their bright ears, they stick out like a needle in a haystack.
“I’m so sorry to hear that.”
Sincerity laced the words he spoke as he took off the mask adorning his face. Perhaps a travel partner wouldn’t be a bad idea, they know the land well due to their natural instinct afterall.
“What is your name? I’m Ordonez.”
“Finalcalon, but my family called me Fin. It is a pleasure to meet you.”
The dragonborn reached their hand out quickly for Ordonez to shake, which he did with ernest.
“Would you like to join me on my adventure?”
“I don’t have anything to lose, yet an adventure to gain… Yes, I think I will join you.”
“Then let’s be on our way. We’re going to the Lost City.”
“Lost?”
“Only to time.”

Oii, como vai? Eu ainda estou viva! E não se preocupem, fiquei um pouco sumida porque estava estruturando o projeto para ajudar escritores (versão apenas em português, por enquanto)! Ele vai se chamar "100 passos para escrever uma história". Sim, vai ser longo e baseado com conteúdo explicativo, com vários exemplos e exercícios práticos. Ainda hoje saí um post explicando melhor o projeto. Também teremos nessa semana um capítulo no história "Serviço mandatório".

Oii, como vai? Faz um tempo que a gente não conversa. No momento, estou a todo gaz! Basicamente estou traduzindo a "Não Há Lugar Como o Lar" que se chama"There’s no Place Like Home" e também revisando a "Refulgente(Amor de babá)", uma história original que eu também vou trazer aqui em forma de fanfiction; ela era originalmente uma fanfiction, mas estou tentando ganhar algum dinheiro com a escrita, tentei transformá-la em original.
A boa notícia é que estou colocando as duas versões da "Não Há Lugar Como o Lar" no AO3 aqui e aqui. Eu adicionei algumas palavras e revisei o texto. Até agora temos duas informações novas nos primeiros capítulos que já estão no ar. A primeira é que o Nico comenta no primeiro ou no segundo capítulo que a Bianca é meio irmã dele. A outra é sobre o Kronos (aqui ele vai ser bonzinho), ainda não tem muita informação sobre na história, estou pensando em fazer um extra com ele. Bemmmm, algumas ideias estão surgindo, então acho que a história vai ser alongar um pouquinho mais, porém, o enredo principal vou tentar terminar o mais rápido possível.
Eu também gostaria de pedir a ajuda de vocês! Coloquei essa história em uma plataforma que talvez no futuro possa me pagar, A Tapas. É completamente gratuito para ler os capítulos, a história está em forma de original, é claro. Também vou começar a escrever alguns posts sobre dicas de escrita. Na verdade, eu tinha um blog sobre o assunto, e agora vou colocar tudo num lugar só. Por enquanto é só isso. Ah, se eu de vezes em quando desaparecer é porque estou descansando do burnout que vive me perseguindo ou tentando levar meus projetos adiante. Ah, a faculdade também. Mas se vocês sentirem minha falta é só mandar uma mensagem ou ask.
Hi, how are you? We haven't talked for a while. At the moment, I'm in full swing! Basically, I'm translating “Não Há Lugar Como o Lar", which is called “There's no Place Like Home”, and I'm also revising “Refulgente(Amor de babá)", an original story in portuguese that I'm also bringing here in the form of a fanfiction; it was originally a fanfiction, but I'm trying to make some money from writing it, so I tried to turn it into an original.
The good news is that I'm putting the two versions of “There's No Place Like Home” on AO3 here and here. I've added a few words and revised the text. So far we have two new pieces of information in the first chapters that are already up. The first is that Nico comments in the first or second chapter that Bianca is his half-sister. The other is about Kronos (he's going to be nice here), there's not much information about him in the story yet, I'm thinking of doing an extra with him. Well, some ideas are coming up, so I think the story will be a bit longer, but I'll try to finish the main plot as soon as possible.
I would also like to ask for your help! I've put this stories on a platform that might pay me in the future, the Tapas. It's completely free to read the chapters, the story is in original form, of course. I'm also going to start writing some posts on writing tips in portuguese. In fact, I used to have a blog on the subject, and now I'm going to put it all in one place. That's all for now. Ah, if I disappear from time to time, it's because I'm taking a break from the burnout that keeps haunting me or trying to move my projects forward. Ah, college too. Oii, como vão todos? Estou passando para avisar que não morri, mas parte da "Não há lugar como o lar" morreu.
Eu admito! Fiz merda. Acabei me deixando levar e a história foi para um caminho que eu não tinha previsto. Então, resolvi começar uma revisão mais cedo, até porque eu queria colocar algumas cenas extras e estou arrumando algumas partes do texto. Basicamente ignorem tudo depois do Nico contar sobre o Hades e que quer ser emancipado. Já tenho umas 10 mil palavras revisadas, devo respostar os capítulos na primeira semana de janeiro no meu blog. Já tenho um capítulo pronto por lá, nele nenhum acontecimento mudou, apenas algumas palavras modificadas.
Bem, esse é o planejamento para os próximos meses, revisar o que eu tenho e voltar aos trilhos. E para não ficarmos sem história, trago um minitexto de 100 palavras. Fiz para um desafio que eu acabei não colocando no ar, no tempo que eu tinha tempo para escrever textos curtos; eles eram ótimos para desenvolver a criatividade. De fato, sinto falta da época que eu tinha tempo para participar de qualquer desafio. De qualquer forma, aqui está, curto, mas que poderia muito bem ter se tornado uma boa história.

Premissa: Eles estavam procurando por sobreviventes, mas eu escolhi ficar quieto. Eu gostava daqui.
Eles estavam procurando por sobreviventes, mas Nico escolheu ficar quieto. Ele gostava dali, era tranquilo, não havia problemas e nem monstros a serem destruídos. Ele nunca pensou que fosse gostar tanto de um mundo onde noventa e cinco por cento da população tinha perecido por culpa de uma nova vacina contra o câncer e, ao invés de prevenir tumores, a vacina acabou por mudar o DNA das pessoas, as transformando em um tipo de zumbi que não representava qualquer tipo de perigo; eles andavam por aí durante dias e dias e quando a energia deles acabavam ou eles se definhavam devido à desnutrição, as pessoas infectadas apenas caiam no chão e não se levantavam novamente.
Mas é claro que Nico tinha que ouvir a voz “dele”.
Nico se abaixou atrás de um arbusto, fechando sua bolsa cheia de frutas e ouviu novamente a voz chamando.
— Tem alguém aí?
Nico se virou, se preparando para rastejar para longe dali quando uma voz falou novamente, bem as suas costas:
— Eu sabia que era você. Eu pensei que era minha imaginação, porque faz tempo que eu não sinto a energia de um semideus, então quando eu--
— Cala a boca! Eles vão te escutar!
Nico pegou Percy pelo braço e o puxou para longe, subindo por um caminho íngreme e entrando em uma caverna escondida pelas árvores. Era a única opção se ele quisesse continuar escondido.

Oi, como vai? Estou passando para avisar que essa semana não vai ter novos capítulos. Estou montando um site, e infelizmente não consigo fazer tudo de uma vez. Ele já tem um endereço e conteúdo. Ainda está um pouco bagunçado e com tags e organização errada, porque estou importando alguns textos de outros lugares. Eu até pensei em já fazer um conteúdo pago para me ajudar a pagar a hospedagem, mas até o fim dessa história vou manter tudo livre. Como vão todos? Finalmente terminei minha mudança e só sobraram os cacos dos meus ossos. Brincadeiras a parte, estou descansando um pouco e logo teremos a continuação das versões em inglês. Provavelmente dentro de uma ou duas semanas as coisas vão se normalizar. Vou tentar trazer um capítulo ainda essa semana, mas não prometo nada. O pior é que eu queria estar escrevendo, mas a exaustão não me deixa. Tipo, eu na maioria dos anos participo do kinktober, porque esse desafio me dá ideias para escrever longas histórias para o próximo ano. É muito eficaz, mas parece que esse vai ser outro que eu não vou conseguir.

Oii, como vai? Finalmente consegui escrever alguma coisa. Por enquanto apenas vão sair as versões em inglês até que ambas as versões estejam no mesmo capítulo. Fiquei esse mês afastada porque surgiu uma surpresa. Consegui comprar meu primeiro apartamento! Então, está difícil para mim apenas me concentrar em escrever quando tenho que pensar em mil coisas ao mesmo tempo. A boa notícia é que vamos continuar com nossa história. Eu não prometo trazer atualizações toda a semana, mas prometo passar aqui de vez em quando. Você sempre pode me mandar uma ask ou uma mensagem. I've been away for a month because I gotta a surprise. I managed to buy my first apartment! So it's hard for me to concentrate on only writing when I have to think about a thousand things at once.
