HOW THE ACTUAL SHIT DO I DRAW AKUTAGAWA’S HAIR??? ITS SO STUPID TO LOOK AT, I HATE ITTTTTT. (saying this as a reluctant aku kinnie.)

a little fanfic piece i decided to write because i don’t actually feel like ranting about how akutagawa isn’t obsessed with/in love with dazai and that it’s just a cry for help and approval. this is just me trying to imagine the scene where akutagawa decided that his goal was trying to get dazai’s approval.

“Does it hurt, Akutagawa?” Dazai said in a cold hiss. 

There was an angry look in his eyes as there usually was after every minuscule mistake made, but there was something else to it. Something more crazed, more feral. Like a rabid animal inflicting its own suffering onto anything it could sink its teeth into. He was holding the younger man by the collar, keeping him from collapsing onto the ground.

“You’re pathetic. You have no clue what real pain is. You’re a failure. You’ll never be good enough for the Port Mafia.” Dazai hissed through gritted teeth. They were words Akutagawa had heard before, but they never failed to make him feel like an ant being slowly burned to death by a kid holding a magnifying glass. That’s what Dazai truly was. A kid. It was easy to forget with his imposing demeanor and annoying pedantic genius. 

Akutagawa found himself unable to speak. His thoughts were swirling and shaky. It was probably the blood loss getting to him. All he could think about was how much he wanted to hear four little words from Dazai: “I’m proud of you.” 

That was it. That was what he wanted more than life. He wanted the person that made him feel like nothing make him feel like something. Was that insane? Probably. 

Dazai threw him down onto his back again. It hurt, it really did, but he had to keep going. He got to his feet shakily. There was a determined look in his eyes as he did.

i hate when people characterize atsushi as an uwu soft boy. he is a sarcastic asshole towards akutagawa and dazai in the manga and i love that about him, silly little guy. ‘what are you, a lawnmower???’ -atsushi nakajima.

ranting part three

why do some (not all) bsd fans hate the female characters so much? i don’t get it. like, everybody hates teruko for just DOING HER JOB because she was fighting sigma. then people say, ‘oh, i don’t like her because her childish personality is annoying not because she’s a woman just TRYING TO DO HER JOB’ and then their favorite character is ranpo. or, people will hate a female character because she ‘gets in the way of their favorite ship’. if you haven’t seen this before i’m happy for you, but an example is ‘lucy gets in the way of sskk!!’ seriously? like, seriously? that is so fucking stupid. (saying this as a sskk/taniatsu shipper) just ship whatever you want and let that character exist. and to those who deny this, if lucy was a man and akutagawa was a woman you’d hate akutagawa because she ‘gets in the way of atsulucy’ there’s also the ‘oh, her only personality is liking a man!!’ when we were first introduced to katai his only personality trait was liking a woman and the fandom still loved him. i don’t like that in any character, but i’m willing to put up with it if the author fleshes out the character’s personality later. i absolutely despise the way this fandom treats female characters, yeah, some of their writing isn’t the best but they’re still necessary to the plot. this has been lou. i’m sorry for all the rants i’ve been doing recently, but i’m pissed about a lot of things. thank you for coming to my ted talk.

I have decided to never go out again I was at my friend's house and I got lost trying to get there and then I was really awkward while trying to help set up her online classes and eventually she handed me my jacket because she had to get dressed to see a movie and I want to curl up in bed she was literally so nice though we were talking about atsushi and akutagawa mimicking each other in the like death things?? after we sorted out her computer

So I was bored and decided to try to draw hair. The first one is supposed to be Dazai, but I don't think you'd recognize it.

The second one is the first time I managed to draw chuuya's hair!

since I drew Chuuya and Dazai, I also wanted to try Ranpo+Poe and Atsushi+Akutagawa

it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.

Atsushi is growing up. He has bristles (due to the tiger's abilities there is a lot of it). Ryunosuke shaves Atsushi with the help of Rashomon.

Perhaps Dazai suggested this idea. Perhaps Chuuya taught Ryunosuke how to shave with a blade properly.

Chuuya definitely shaves with a blade. Dazai definitely can't be trusted with a blade.

Either the theories are true or sensei just pulled the Akane Shuichi shit on us.

sskk fans (me) really won with this chapter i will never get over it.

the sskk content ?? atsushi knowing about akutagawa’s past and how dazai treated him in the pm, atsushi understanding him even better !! their bond is gonna be so much stronger from now on !!! I LOVE THEM SM

and dazai hallucination reveal- AAAAA i didn’t expect it all but it was so good!! atsushi’s development this chapter means so much to me!! him accepting his trauma by letting the headmaster help him- I AM UNWELL !!

anyways.. i loved it. can’t wait for the next chapter. i’m gonna go and process all this some more.

It’s funny how the characters idealize each other was reversed in real life like Fyodor was inspired by Nikolai and Akutagawa inspired Dazai and so many more.

Akutagawa Ryūnosuke is a Japanese writer who has found a very unusual incarnation in the anime Bungou Stray Dogs (BSD)

To be honest, starting to watch, I immediately drew attention to this young man, who repelled and attracted at the same time. The first season showed us Akutagawa as the embodiment of cruelty and some absurdity, but several final scenes of the second season melted the ice of misunderstanding. Undoubtedly, this character has a tragic fate, part of which is unambiguously illustrated in the end credits of both seasons. Here I'll attach the ending of the second season, which sunk into my soul from the first time

Returning to the literary side, it's worth mentioning the merits of the Japanese writer. Akutagawa Ryūnosuke is regarded as the «father of the Japanese short story», and Japan's premier literary award, the Akutagawa Prize, is named after him. Unfortunately, the life of the writer ended quite early
