The more I debate with TRAs, the more I realise that they genuinely believe that masculinity and feminity DO NOT exist as social concepts but rather as individual traits that can be mixed and matched and then attached to a word. For example, talking to a transman, I asked them what masculinity is, and they responded with "it is whatever you want it to be" or a good one I always hear is "masculinity means different things to different people".
TRAs genuinely believe that the concepts of masculinity and femininity are traits that are just attached to words. These words are empty vessels that THEY attach meaning to. They aren't defining a word; they are describing THEMSELVES. So when you ask a Trans person, "What are masculinity and femininity?" to them the question is received as "Describe who you are? or Describe yourself?" Thus, why, gender is something that is/can mean anything to anybody.
They have no structural conceptualisation of gender because, to them, gender is not a tool or even an ideology. It is the self. So when radfems say "woman is not a gender" or "women are adult human females," they cannot conceptualise or even grasp this because, to them, gender is the self. How can women be without the 'self'?
If you are Trans and reading this, you are describing gender as a personality. LMAO.

like at some point if "the left" (not a monolith. also you often just mean liberals) supporting self id is a deal breaker for you you have to realize you must be very privileged when it comes to class race and disability imo. bc poor women, disabled women and woc need leftist politics if we dont want our lives to become absolutely awful. not to mention "the left" isnt a monolith and there are parts of the left that dont support transactivism

A lot of harm could have been avoided if trans activists didn't bully medical and psychological professionals out of doing their job. Think: Which person do you listen to? Which person’s desires do you care more about? Which person’s preferences do you think are more important? Women in the west cannot be free until women in countries where western men go to do sex tourism are free. Rich women cannot be free until poor women are not being coerced into either sex/reproductive/domestic exploitation. White women cannot be free until black women do not face unique risks of sexual violence from the police, domestic violence from their peers, or maternal death. Abled women cannot be free until disabled women do not face increased risk of sexual violence from caretakers. Straight women cannot be free until lesbians have the right to say NO to men, without question or coercion. Our struggles are linked, and protections for the more vulnerable among us mean at that the more privileged among us have a better negotiating postion at the very least.

This reminds me of this one post, I can't even remember where I saw it or what it said exactly. But I remember it saying something about how a lot of incels or manosphere misogynists base their theories and "observations" of how women act not on real life, but from porn. Like, incels or men in the manosphere will claim the average bodycount for a 21 year old is like, 70, which doesn't make sense if you regularly talk to actual women, but makes complete sense if your most frequent exposure to women is through porn. This post feels like one of those claims, despite the poster seemingly being female? Maybe she's just trying to appeal to the men in those spaces, or maybe she's NLOG-ing and just thinks that she's different from most women for not riding peen at the drop of a hat.

It's absolutely cruel to women in general to have gender neutral bathrooms replacing women's rooms, but it's downright unfathomably evil to do this to little and teen girls, especially in schools.
Imagine being 9 and getting your first period, bleeding all over the toilet, thinking you're dying, and having your male peers in the room with you instead of just other girls who can get you cleaned up and comfort you, telling you what a period is and that you're safe.
Imagine being 12 and having endometriosis, curled up on the toilet in agony on your lunch break at school, and hearing the boys in the next stall over making sex jokes (or worse - laughing at your sobbing).
Imagine being 10 and having no way to hide the fact that you changed your pad from the boys in your grade who will then go on to tease you and say you're bitchy and hormonal if you fight back.
Imagine being 14 and trying to find a moment of reprieve from the boys sexually harassing you, only to have them follow you into the bathroom and record audio of you urinating.
Imagine being 6, just entering first grade, and having an older boy kick open the cubicle you were struggling to lock.
Imagine being 17 and having your male peers crawl under your cubicle, phone in hand, camera app on.
Imagine being 15 and having nowhere to be with just your female friends to cry about heartbreak or harassment, or even just to be with girls alone to laugh and joke in peace.
Lack of sex segregated accommodations in wartime prisons are considered a human rights violation by the Geneva conventions for a reason. This is psychological torture towards our girls. It's evil. Truly fucking evil.
